December 5th, Friday - DL 270 4 sets of 3
05.12.2025
I haven't been accepting God's grace very well. You, pray for me, now! Please. I'm asking, begging, ordering. What do you think you're doing reading this without praying for me? Do it now! Say it in your mind - "God, please help this guy, help him through time, help him with whatever's going on with him." I need it so much and I need you to do it, soldier. Through time, grace.
That Wednesday workout was not great. Daytime lifestyle has not been going very well for me. Yesterday I felt like living through consequences of CTI, just so empty. Low energy, no stimulation. It changes today. Today the strain went up, cause of the deadlift. And I rolled my ankle again, strange sharp pain I think in my vein more so than connective tissues. I have been doing a lot of mobility stuff for my ankle, obsessive. I think I have to stop it. Simply let the connective tissues thicken.
Workout
Deadlift
20 - 70 - 120 - 160
200 for 3 semi-nice OHG - first was a half-rep, some chalk - much better second and third.
230 for 3 feels super lame. BUT I knew it's cause I'm not warmed up. So I went ahead and only had a short break -
250 for 3 a little better. Now, after a slightly longer break, let's see how the next weight will feel.
270 for 3 - not bad, taking breaks though. Third rep was the smoothest. I'm not sure but I think that's the biggest weight I've done not having reached a warmed up state - lol. I'm not 'warmed up'! My CNS - and some other elusive thing, something that makes CNS work - they're not there yet. I think it's gotta be serotonin, that's what I'm betting on with my half a brain. The other one's resting, it's a superset.
270 for 3 - not gonna claim it was a good set, no I'm not. First two reps were nice and quick, doing my three-part cue. Then I took a pause, third rep - got it to knees, it felt easy but very wrong - the right-side sleeve was sliding off, way too much weight on the right. Plus I am definitely putting more weight on the left unconsciously. Fixed it, pushed the plates in - much better, a smooth rep with a really quick start. I think I might be warmed up here.
270 for 3 - nice. That was a good set. Not extremely powerful or fast, not perfect - but very good, confident. I again did two reps fast enough, then took a reset, rewrapped the straps. My cardio is barely loaded by this. Did I mention I took a five minute walk on Wednesday? I really needed it. My foot was better. Too bad I can't protect myself from rolling it again and again. I'll try to pause the mobility rehab, too forced. But I want to use it, still. It's feeling awkward today because of it, because of this strain right now.
270 for 3 - okay, that was a nice one. Nice first rep, a little wobbly second - the power angle shifted somewhere. Another reset before the third one, and I did it really smooth! Hesitated for a moment but stepped back even though that darn ankle is wonky, made me feel scared.
Definitely drained. Yesterday I was asleep at that time.
Thank God! Thank you, God, for this chance to worship You by lifting well. Hallelujah!
