June 2nd, Monday - DL, messy but okay, 4 sets of 6 from 238 to 243

 02.06.2025

Nice day so far. I've been really reflecting on my constant fleshful confusion; I do not wish for anyone to experience that. It is undescribable and makes me feel completely out of control. I wrestle it back, with effort and prayer - not easy. Thankfully, there's nothing too dangerous my flesh is being compelled to do; this confusion is multilayered - not only do I not understand why, I do not understand what. Flesh speaks not in letters this time; a disconnection, translator fired, unwilling to interpret. A unique experience; few people corner themselves the same way I do, I believe. Freedom is what people want, not facing the animal while animal drags them; they simply peer at the sky.

Today we're doing sets of 6 from 235 to 245. Should be easy? Good.

Been doing quite some writing... Over 2000 words, a "double" episode if you will. Rewriting some old rewritten stuff...

It's pretty late now. Did I mention I've been awake for a while? It's okay. I've just been a little sleepy. I don't wanna wax it out and all that. Anteaventure!

Deadlift

20 - 70 - 120 - 160 for 6

200 for 1 okay rep overhand, 2 more liftoffs and 3 reps in straps

235 for 6 - nice, kinda messy but okay for the first working set/final warmup set

238 for 6 - straining my right inner thigh a little - managed to do 5 quick reps and one after a pause

240,5 for 6 - 3 fast reps, paused; that strain again, three more reps - sort of managed to avoid the pain on last rep. Also, I think I figured out the flexed upper back technique - and I admit I don't think it's actually more powerful than my normal technique (at least right now!)

Listening to jazz. Nu Vagis is the most jazz game. Dizzy Gillespie, Eric Dolphy. I love Eric Dolphy's stuff, it's weird but I think his improvisation is sort of similar to mine. Rhythmic, heartbeat, nerve dancing.

243 for 6 - a messy but good in the end set; 4 somewhat fast reps, 2 more slow ones - but no pain, just struggling.

The culprit for my pulled muscle is either my flatfooted squat or my very random upstepping onto the tall porchlanding earlier today. Or the fat that I've been awake for over 20 hours... Given I had a long sleep but still - that's the way I function I guess! (imagine me doing that back and forth fisting/hamming dance move that is a form of fanciful cheerful optimistic self-deprecation; I think Porky Pig does it on occasion)

It ain't that one - the one where he does the fisting, fun gesture, you know? A-la "let's a go!" heh. I never seen him in a cap you know... Or did I? A mandible effect...
