March 5th, Wednesday - Deadlift, sets of 4 from 240 to 260

 04.03.2025

I feel peculiarly amazing today; sleep felt good. I feel like it's the squat that raised my testosterone and bettered my mood; for that reason, I believe, I might begin squatting more often! Also, I concluded yesterday that, in comparison to deadlift, I have less 'mind-muscle' connection. It's not about feeling your muscle as much as it is about actually being able to USE all of your muscle completely, in a real strong way; I am less studied in the art of squat, unlike in deadlift.

Nice day. Ate well, slept decent. Quiet. Been cleaning up, all the micro dust is aggravating my nose again... That's what you get for trying to be tidy, heh. Wanna do some writing... I'm pretty hyped for Grok 3. It's something we all really wished for - an UNCUCKED LLM... AI Dungeon players should really be happy about it! But AI Dungeon is deeply in the past; it was a cool, unique idea back in the day, now not so much. Me? I like writing, I make my own fun. Same as when I was a 'luthier', hehe... Learning something new, getting slightly better, bit by bit...

DL session 14 - 5 sets of 4 with 80%... Hmm. Interesting.

Had a 45/510 conventional, Ethiopian Jardin... it's much more crusty when you grind it compared to Colombian. I seem to go between these three - Colombian, Ethiopian and 'creme', heh.

Workout

Deadlift

20 for 20

70 for 15 - legs are stiff from Monday, sore, and now I got my left inner thigh cramping/strained a little

120 for 5

160 for 5 monkey grip overhand

200 for 4 mixed, skin flaking... But at least grip feels good.

240,3 for 4 - I like how light it was, but I don't like how lazy I felt 😁 Stiff legs make it really really uncomfortable to bend down to the bar, weird! Should be better on the next set...

245,5 for 4 better

250,5 for 4 nice and smooth, although starting to feel hard

255,5 for 4 very good, best, most powerful set so far. High belt, sharp diagonal angle (if you look in profile(from the side)) - the front part of the belt pulls down on all of the abs like some kind of plate, some wall, making them really flex! Not on the ribs, but right above the abs, right on top of them, you know what I mean? Also, realistically, it should be a preferred technique for me - isn't it peculiar how I can deadlift both with middle belt and like that? Cause it helps you move through your knees, where my sticking point is, cause of how stiff my back is, but it does make lockout more difficult, which has never been a problem for me... Curious.

260,5 for 4 - very good, all reps decent, although I did take a superstitious break after three reps and got some more chalk. I didn't need to doubt myself, I think... Well, 260,5 for 4 is a defacto PR 😁

P.S. Heck yeah, I'm totally vibing today, just listening to my 'all' playlist on random, writing, and all songs seem to fit perfectly! I decided to add an RPotD fot that
