March 1st, Saturday - Light workout: curls, flys, squat stretches

 01.03.2025

I had an amazing day yesterday. I ran out of beans, but I still have instant coffee. Enjoyed giving a lesson and writing and reviewing a lot. Today, though, I've been feeling super lazy. For once, I feel like today's a good time *not* to have a heavy workout after midnight. But I will have a light one!

Workout

Warmup - L-flys and variations, stick moves

Curls

6+6 kg dbs for 30+ reps, focusing on supination and forcing the right arm to work alongside the left evenly

2 sets for 50 reps - better, more flexible. It's important to focus on some things in a non-bodybuilder way; like, how many times can you lift this? Rather than focus on 'stimulation'. Well, I'm repeating basic truths, but also I'm doing something relatively new today. Also, it's been a while since I've done the tricep work for high reps... It was fun, but not as useful as I hoped it'd be.

Flys - full range

2+2kg dbs for 50

6+6 kg dbs for 2 sets of 30 - pretty hard, staring to sweat. A lot of 'cheating' in all exercises so far, aiming for functionality.

Squat - slow squat stretches

3 sets - a lot of static work in various mid-squat positions, working on foot control, shifting weight from heel to toe through a variety of angles, as well as on toes themselves - back to front.

Strong oblique cramp on third set, heh. Need some tea.
