September 26th - OHP 4 sets of 2 and talking

 26.09.2024

Nice day. Slept well, nutrition okay I presume - not good nor bad. Just don't feel hungry, although I only really had disgusting marinated chicken which I fried in batter and then baked in the oven for an hour. The batter was kind of nice and curious, cause I made it with half wheat flour and half out flour. And a lot of pepper of course. It's unique. It would have been better if I had a proper fryer and fresh chicken rather than have to bake it for an hour. Because if it was any less it was sooo disgusting. I can tell, I tried to eat it. May wanna buy groceries again soon enough. I haven't had a proper 'Russian breakfast' in a while. 'Russian breakfast' in my iteration is a couple pork chops or cutlets, couple stripes of bacon, couple eggs and then a load of veggies - tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, or marinated veggies like pickles and garlic, and, of course, let's not forget the onion slices - frankly, they go so well with any kind of pork or meat, depending on the onion, of course. Some onion might be too bitter and too spicy. Marinated green peppers are also lovely. Don't like marinated garlic too much, it just feels excessive to me. Sauerkraut - no more than a couple tablespoon, lest you're a fan of inflation (hehe). Yeah, that's the problem with sour cabbage - it doesn't just make you fart, it inflates you from the inside before you can start farting, unlike, let's say beans, cause I guess beans begin their reaction further down the intestines? Well, bon appetit anyway. Beans are lovely for breakfast, especially with bacon. Bacon can be cooked dry or still fairly soft. What I really like - or have liked recently - is a proper fatty beef. For some reason the fat itself seems so good. Meat is good too. And all pork I have is usually very lean. Curious. And sauces, don't forget the sauces - usually a normal ketchup or sriracha. Had to throw away the bottle of sriracha yesterday that we had since July, didn't bother scooping out the final droplets. The curious thing about that sauce is that it was only spicy about 1/3 of the time, the rest of the time if was super mild! Has to do something with the palate.

Me? Well, I had lovely dreams, weird dreams, confusing dreams. Not that great to be confused, to be conflicted internally eternally, til you're longer human but an abstract ghost floating through hyperspace to your destination. Then I won't be human, even according to Christian dogmats. Think about it. Dead people are spirits, and they are all still connected to their bodies, waiting for resurrection. To be human is to be flesh. The accursed flesh that obey the laws of physics first and my conscience second. My conscience, my superego is not the totalitarian mono-ruler, but rather a king with vassals and their own vassals who can then disobey the king. Oh, what tragedy! Sometimes the king has his mouth shut and made to obey the flesh. The dichotomy, the endless struggle. It is virtuous to struggle against your own flesh, it is virtuous to suffer even if you fail in the end. Cause maybe next time you can be more successful, right? And one day you'll be successful enough, holding back the evils of the flesh that you can last til your death, so you and your life will be free from blemishes. "Successful" has two doubles of letters.

Today I'd like to do OHP. Thursday is my preferred day for a workout.

A whole week, darn it. OHP session 8 - 4 sets of 2 with 102 or 103. Well, maybe resting, or, rather, having a light session on Monday was a good choice. I know I feel decent right now, freshened up. I really should have just had better recovery though and had a workout on Monday. Better sleep is what I needed.

Workout

Warmup - PWC pipe and some L-flys, some attempts to warmup the lower body, even some hangs. Then a break

Overhead press

20 - 50 - 70 for 8 nice

90 for 5 okay, not too difficult

103 for 2 - not bad, considering the break was very short. My obliques bother me just a little.

103 for 2 difficult, but not bad. Forgot to put a belt, as I had the belt on the previous two sets

103 for 2 decent, lovely, springy rather than stiff. The belt back on

103 for 2 lovely, great, grandiose, Hallelujah! Very easy, smooth, controlled, springy lift. I feel especially powerful when I lower the bar. Curious. Also avoided pain in my obliques with the help of strong bracing and the tight belt on the midsection.

I wanna do so much more. I will, both today and in the near future.

Some curls and overhead seated presses with a pair of 6s, some right arm stretches.
