February 2024, 16th and 18th, Fri and Sun - Light and OHP

Deadlift ended up pretty hard for me on Wednesday, mixed with some more mental turmoil; my whole body felt like foam polyester, stretched and torn. At some point later at night, I felt a fewer rising up in my head; I suspected I might be falling ill. I knew I had some fewer dreams waiting for me. I did end up having those fewer dreams, but much to my surprise with fewer and hallucinations ended up receding and I'm not actually ill in the end, although I do feel extra damaged physically. I've worked a little too hard for a tiny bit too long; it's time to go back on a light-workout-pill. I'm thinking of even stopping heavy deadlifts and heavy squats for a while. Maybe even until I'm back, heh. I've checked out the weather prognosis. It'll be warm soon, especially further down south. Weather matters a lot.
Workout - a very light one, as I envision
Warmup - stick moves, lat stretches, shoulders, L-fly variations, squat moves
Overhead press
2+2 kg dbs - 2 sets of 20
6+6 kg dbs - 2 sets of 20 - I decided it'd be more prudent to write "6+6" rather than just "6 kg dbs" for additional clarity, indicating I have two 6 kg dumbbells
Front squats - specifically front ones, keeping the weight in front of the shoulders
6+6 kg dbs - 5 sets of 15 - lovely, some cardio. May wanna start doing walks again, eh? Heh heh. Every following set was getting better.
Feels good, maybe even great. My mind is growing stronger and tougher, more solid, maybe even more than ever - like a brick building demolished and rebuilt with steel and granite.

Weird time. Well, at least I'm finally gonna work out today, even though it's late.
Week 8, Session 2 - 2 sets of 3 with 80%, 3 sets of 1 with 87,5%.
Workout
Warmup - a tiny but
Overhead press
20 for 20
50 for 10
70 for 10 feels very uneven. I've done something wrong with my wrist on Wednesday.
70 for 5
90 for 5 okay, that feels nicer
100 for 3 okay
100 for 3 a little better. I've been doing something that has been making my arms uneven. Probably still mostly the wrist issue. Maybe lack of back training.
110,5 for 1 okay - not too smooth, not very even, but okay
110,5 for 1 - it was all easy except I had a very pronounced sticking point. I speculate it might be related to lack of squats. Squats helped me maintain a bit more mobility.
110,5 for 1 after second attempt - that was the best set today so far. On the first attempt I fiddled with the technique too much and ended up with the bar in my hands rather than behind my clavicles.
Tomorrow I'm squatting, any kind of squat. Gotta get it back.
