January 30-31, Tue-Wed - Light and Deadlift reset
30.01.2024
Flys, full range / supersetted with back flys (skier flys)
2 kg dbs - 2 sets of 15
6 kg dbs - 2 sets of 15
Slow squats with hand support in the front
4 sets - only a few reps, but really slow; it kind of looked like me moving up a few degrees up, pausing, up again and so on. Don't want to overdo anything before tomorrow. But feeling kinda nice, pumped muscle and brain.
Having some old ideas - from a year and three months ago enter my brain again. But I'm a little different nowadays. But also they still feel refreshing somehow, I feel like there are more options in life than I thought.
Overhead press - a set of reps with the 27 kg ez bar
31.01.2024
Kind of a nice day. I may be mistaken, but I think I'm coming out of that little depression I've developed since early November. A few things are different. I feel like there are more options.
Nutrition has been fairly average. Sleep - hard to say, haven't been quite getting enough. But I feel okay. It's not like the last couple weeks of feeling weak and sleepy a lot of the time. Today we're keeping it all very easy and sort of deloading. The whole first microcycle is just deloads.
Week 1 Session 1 - 62,5% for 5 sets of 8. Let's just say the average max - not minimax nor supermax - is 300. So, it'll be a very easy 187,5 for 5 sets of 8.
Workout
Deadlift
20 - 70 - 110 - 163 for 8
183 for 8 lovely, kinda way too easy
183 for 8 same, strained my right side cause I seem to all over the place with my technique, also standing unevenly in relation to the barbell
183 for 8 much better, less wriggling of the torso - it doesn't happen on heavy weights, you know. Tighter belt, even foot position. I just realised I have two more sets rather than one 😁
183 for 8
183 for 8
Monologuing a lot today. I feel different. Thank God for anything.
I don't qualify under neurodivergent. I just got different habits than normal people. Different proportions and reactions in my head. Sometimes I don't bother convincing people I'm not what they assume I am. Sometimes I just don't care how they see me.
