Genuinely above average day. Had enough sleep, had a random but sort of nice meal (cereal with a lot of very unexpected seeds and stuff). Waited, rested. Since last Tuesday it's been a bit more chaotic, a lot like 2021. 2021 was an awesome year, but this last week was only really halfway awesome. 2020 was better for me. Wednesday, for example, was horrendous simply due to biochemical disbalance in my brain. We've been having issues with the new boiler, a thingy, a servo has been installed so the hot water can go between faucet and heating. It's automatical, so we can have disabled heating in the summer while still having hot water in the faucet. The guy installed a bypass. We've been having issues with this thing turning off, the boiler itself turning off all the time until I opened this bypass last night and now we have both heating and faucet water. Hmm. I'm a little worried I've done something wrong, but we do need both heating and water in winter, correct? I'm a little lost here.

I wanna clear my mind and go back to deafult. I wanna be interested in music again. But interests take time to grow. I'm in that awesome -ensive, solemn mood. Observing nostalgic images in my brain. "Pensive". One of the new words that found its way into my mental vocabulary. What exactly does it mean? "Musingly or dreamily thoughtful". Sounds about right. English became my second first language, because my brain enjoys the stimulation so much. And thus I've been forced to enjoy all the western things. Well, I was good at Russian too, I was a fast reader when I was little. Good little decoding machine. We read a lot back in the day, even average people. Technically, we still read a lot, but bookreading is something else. Last time I've done any "bookreading" - in this specific, ritualistic sense - was in early 2016, when I was still in the army hospital, getting treated for a diagnosis of "neurosis". They've been feeding us those semi-addictive bitter pills that made my skin itch and made me all jittery in my seat, but also calm. I kept sitting and folding my legs until my joints hurted. For a while I believed this medication fucked up my CNS and reduced my lifting ability in the gym. It's probably incorrect.

My brain often feels like it's in a need of a good "wash". When things move around in it, you know? If you know then you know. Not everyone pays so much attention to themselves and how they feel. The mindscape and your body. Your elusive spirit. All needs maintaining. When you take your time, you begin to see the near-endless contradictions in everything. Every thing.

Coffee's been pretty horrible to me. No more abrosia of the gods, more like pure pain juice. In small amounts it feels alright. I've just finished 1 (one) moka, and I'm buzzing softly, tunneling about 30% of the way. How is it going to change if I have one more? Glad I had a really light day yesterday. I was feeling like shit, even after my daytime nap, but still way better than on Wednesday. And I keep hoping Wednesdays can be good days.

My ribs and pecs feel very muscled. How curious. As I've mentioned earlier, I'd like to do some OHP today.

After one coffee, the tunneling sensation kept increasing. It's sort of a good feeling. It last for a while. A circuit, cyclical. It's doing something. It's trying to build something, a little bit unstructured. Data gathering. An image. Something to remember, a command. A driver.

Dubious about a second coffee. How is it going to feel? We won't take too long. I'd like to promise myself that.

Week 3, Session 1 - 5 sets of 8 with 67,5%. So, we can settle for 90 kgs. Should be easy.

Workout

Overhead press

20 for 10

50 for 10

70 for 8 feels nice

90,5 for 8 - very nice, a very good set, I enjoyed it. All reps very stricts without the painful "stiffness". My flexibility is good and I can easily move through the whole range of movement, from the clavicles to overhead without doing the initial sendoff impulse. We'll keep it for heavier weights!

90,5 for 8 - very good, maybe even stricter, but I'm starting to doubt I can maintain such ease for the further sets. Decided to take a slightly longer break a wait for the warmup to arrive.

90,5 for 8 - nice, about the same

90,5 for 8 harder, started doing the right-arm skewing, but still pushing upwards rather than using initial impulse or ducking under bar.

90,5 for 8 okay, filmed it. Feels good, but not as powerful as earlier sets. Only to be expected for the 5th set.
