Sept 12-13, Tue and Wed, Light bench and DL 233-248 sets of 5
12.09.2023
Nice day. Slept well, haven't slept like this for a very long time. When I woke up I was very dehydrated and about two times slower, hehe. Nutrition has been above average, very close to good. Thank God for that too! Had two mokas. They taste nice! Today's just bench; it has been a light exercise for me cause I'm using a very realistic max and generally don't have an ego for it.
So, today we're also doing fives.
Workout
Warmup - cool stick moves, wall pushups
Bench
20 - 60
80 for 8
110 for 5 feels a little too heavy - due to fatigue from other moves. Time to curb my enthusiasm a tiny bit.
110 for 5 much easier
110 - 2 sets of 5 alright. Wanted to stop earlier, but decided it's worth going forward.
Pushups - the more difficult kind, with abs and scapulas
3 sets of 10 - feels nice, but getting tired and sleepy

Nice day again. Slept well, saw dreams. Ate alright. A dream I saw is someone sending me their story in Discord which suddenly featured my characters as well as DnD calculations. All makes sense - things I've been thinking about in real life. It was fairly fascinating.
Played BG3 yesterday with newfound addiction. This game keep surpising me, in all the nice ways as well as when it cuts your progress very randomly so you have to reload a very old save again 😁 For example, I tried leaving Act II when it was hard locked and got a big surprise.
I'd like to talk about BG3 main characters. Have you noticed they're all tall races? Easier to relate to and also no need for extra animations. I'm starting to realise that Lae'zel is actually my favorite. She's got the proper attitude, but then is also shocked to find out some about herself and her people. I guess that was a very mild spoiler, hehe. (no, it was not). And she's actually supposed to be 19-20, according to some reddit posts? Shadowheart is nice and cute too, and she's supposed to be the first companion when you land. Facial animations in this game are the leasts plastic doll/uncanny valley animations I've seen in video gaming. They are doing something differently! I assume Shadowheart is the most tired in my game - besides the main character - since she gets to spend the least amount of time in camp. I may want to install an unimited party mod. And I might want to up my difficulty from medium - it has, in fact, been too easy once I learned how things word. I still had to cheese some parts, hehe. Well, collecting explosives is the least cheesy thing of all cheesy things, I guess. I assume the neologism "cheesy" just comes from "cheating" - it's been around for a decade, maybe even more.
I woke up pretty late today and had a caffeine pill. Now I finished my first moka and I'm feeling the "coffee sleepiness", lol. As usual, it takes about 20 minutes of lying down for it to be replaced with excitement.
We got deadlift today. And writing, I hope.

Week 3, Session 2 - working up to 77,5 for 4 sets of 5. 233-248? Sounds somewhat reasonable.
I feel very lost. Coffee made me cranky. Well, in a way, it is a good sign. My keyboard keeps l try blowing some air on it. Maybe shake it around. Let's see...
Workout
Deadlift
20 - 70 - 110 - 140
190 for 4 - first rep overhand with fingertips (no calluses), second felt wrong this way and I dropped it. Then three reps with straps. Calluses going away. I'll just have to make peace with it.
233 for 5 wonky, I think I might be overthinking my movements
238 for 5 much better, moving in accordance with established stereotypes
243 for 5 better, no breaks between reps, although I probably needed one before the 5th - no oxygen, a bit of jerking around, poor velocity. It's interesting how I didn't need as much oxygen last time and I could breathe through my mouth easily?
You know, it's a strangely normal thing for me to get really cranky before the deadlift. Last time it was light, and even I wanted to "end it all". That what I planned to write about under the spoiler, but it got accidentally removed. And I'm not gonna bother fixing it.
248 for 5 - okay, nice enough, a little shaky. First three reps were okay, then I decided to take a break. Not the longest one, but it ended up being over a minute.
