September 5-6

My body forced itself into a recovery mode. Very relaxed. So, it's technically not 5th anymore, and I'll have a super light session, enough to satisfy my stimulation urges. and I'll make it a double post, haven't had those in a while.
Workout
Overhead press, extra long range
6+6 kg dumbbells - 3 sets of 15 reps
Shoulder flys
6+6 kg dumbbells - 3 sets of 15 - varied speeds on the way up and down. In the end I could really feel my delts, flexing like proper hydraulics.
Calf raises - 20 and 30 with support, 30 without
Squat on toes / calf raises superset
5 sets of 15 curiously difficult with added movements in between squats, not my feet muscles are also loaded. It was so fun I didn't want to end after third set, even though my feet muscles really hurted! So I did some more. Sweating.
You know, I think I'm not going to buy Starfield right away. I checked the balance on my card. I was happy to find out there was a bit more than I expected. But it's been quite a while since I felt like I have money "saved up". And it's all about actually saving money. There was a time, a long period when I'd spend dozens of minutes browsing stuff online, thinking of what to buy. Recently I realised this habit of mine vanished.

Nice day. Slept more or less well. Nice dreams. Mediocre food, maybe a little above average. Now it's very late. Old stuff resurfacing. Angry. Just like last week. Really shouldn't have read that article last week. And today old stuff is draining my CNS again. Having my third coffee, opened the new bag. It's above average, nice, like dark chocolate. Let's see the brand... "Nero", dark roast. Nice enough! Decent, even.
Workout
Some ez bar pulls for an upstairs warmup
Deadlift
20 - 70 - 120 - 160 for 8
190 for 8 overhand. It was way too hard to do it overhand, so I took long breaks. I found a change in my technique - I now sit back a bit more on my DL. Not sure it's a perfect idea, but that's what I'm gonna try. Also, belt high again, so it helps my stomach be like a brick sphere. It pushes on top of it.
And it's a pretty big PR :D
213 for 8 - first five reps hook grip, thumbs melting like taffy. Last three with straps. RPE around 60% out of ten sausages.
213 for 8 - 5 with straps, nose swollen, one mixed grip, two more with straps. The breaks were not long. Speed was good. Nose violated with cold air, I'd like to avoid that.
213 for 8 - 2 reps hook grip. 6 reps in straps, 2 hook. Weird! Decent speed, rpe the same.
213 for 8 - nice, no pauses, belly full of air, sitting back a bit. Didn't need my nose, breathed through mouth!
That's it. Very stressed mentally, but the wave of endorphins is covering it. I reckon I could have done a much bigger weight in this volume.
