July 26-27, Wednesday - Deadlift

 26.07.2023

Nice day. Sleep decent, food okay. Week 11, Session 1 - 5 sets of 3 with 77,5%... Another intersection, ha ha. Well, it will be powerful, I should hope. From 230 to 240. Reasonable? Quite. And I'll have energy afterwards, I reckon.

Yesterday I played GTAV, going towards overplaying once again. I decided to buy the vehicle that is currently on sale (Avenger), so I saved up and purchased it. It's fun, and there's something primordially scary about it's aesthetics. It's big!

Been re-reading and re-editing the new chapters of Marco... I gotta tell you, AI is not yet as smart as singularity-ists would have you believe. But deep in the dungeon there might be the basilisk waiting for us, hehe. Joking, half joking, not being serious. It doesn't matter right now. All I know is that the media is manipulating people.

Playing it is more fun that reading and realising it's not the same as you imagine it. But it can be. And it can be more.

Played guitar a little. Just a little. Soloed. The riff does not have a chord progression in it, but it can. Hmm.

I wish to make something, but it's not a strong enough wish yet. Where will we land?

You know, I just realised you can play bass drum with your hands and not necessarily your feet. It's actually quite a mind blowing realisation... But I am thinking as a music producer on top of that.

Haven't played drums in a while. Might wanna do it soon.

Workout

Warmup - very little

Deadlift

20

70 - 120 - 160 for 5, overhand

200 for 5 - 3 reps overhand, 2 hook (3rd rep was not so good, admittedly)

230 for 3 hook grip - feels nice, being able to do this

230 for 3 same, but my skin started to wear out

240 for 3 mixed grip. I tried different grips. First left underhand (normal), then the opposite, then I impulsed hook grip bit if was definitely out, and then one normal mixed grip. Set was nice and casual.

240 for 3 not great but okay. Technique got a bit loose. Straps

240 for 3 okay, decent.

Unloaded the plates via pinching. I sometimes feel lazy to do it. But I always do it, except that one time I forgot cause I fell ill. In February? Right, then. Feel very recent.

I almost didn't bother recording, but I remembered my regret on Saturday and did do it. Now I have memory and something to reflect and focus on when I think of DLs.
