Nice day. Sleep - 6/10, nutrition - 55/100. Good enough.
Some of my family came home. My little brother almost immediately asked me to let him play Minecraft. Later, I gave a lesson. Now I'm having my very late coffee. I am planning to have a proper OHP workout today, strangely enough. 5 sets of 8 with 67.5%.
So, I'm thinking of going 90 - 95 and three sets of 100. A little too laid back, you could argue, but, well, I did heavy DLs yesterday.
Coffee tastes magnificent today. 22 grams, double ground. I think I may wanna buy a different moka pot, however.
I learned that you definitely don't wanna pour water above the steam release valve. In fact, I've been having great success with coffee that does not leak out. I might have succesfully learned how to screw it on. However, I still wanna buy another moka pot. So many things I wanna buy.
Last night I played RDO a lot. There's the Collector role promotion this month - you're getting twice the modey for collections. I turned in most of them. Made a lot of ingame money, but spent a serious portion of them improving my "abilities" - the RPG element in this game. It's fun. I got tired. Going around the world and collecting stuff is fun mostly because of how developed the world is. The graphics are more amazing than any other game I've played so far. Except for some things, of course. The world is very well made. But something like earth, ground and things up close - not as much, cause this game was meant to be played in third person. I miss those days. In the past. As a child, you'd just explore anything that was given to you. Learn. Build connections in the brain. And they can be repurposed too. You think the child is just playing Super Mario Bros 3? No, it's developing it's reflexes and timing. It can be a very difficult game, you know. I keep thinking about buying the GBA charger so I can let my little brother try this game. It's been so many years. I think I was 11 or 12 when I received this as a gift for my birthday from my father. It was a lot of fun back then. Then there was PSP. The children. Best to just treat them using your your parental instincts - if you have then. If you see children as persons then there might be a contraction. They are persons, just not developed yet. I was treated as a person at some points growing up. Oh well.
Getting the rare feeling of "jumbled"-ness now. Best get to it. It didn't use to be so rare back in the day during some periods. I wonder why...
Workout
Warmup - thorough, long, some PP with my ez bar
Push press
70 - a few presses and pushpresses
90 for 8 - nice, RPE 5.5
95 for 8 - nice, about the same. Forearm pump
100 for 7 - okay, easy enough, but failed the last rep cause I wasn't pushing with my legs enough, more like presspush, if you will. Arms feel pretty loaded. I am doing a somewhat decent job locking out properly, unlike when I was starting the pushpress a year ago.
100 for 8 - fixed it, RPE around 7 at this point
Squat
90 - 4 sets of 4 - quad still strained a little
Feels good.
And, I forgot to mention - the fact that I squatted and spent time downstairs made it feel more oldschool. That's good. I wish I'd learn to work out earlier in the day, however. So I can play drums.
