January 30th, Monday - Squat, keeping up positive doctrine somewhat succesfully, running out of sugar in my brain

 30.01.2023

Nice day. I've gotten a bit more sleep, unstrained my CNS. That's not fun to relax. It's just not my modus. Strange hearing from someone like me. I like to have active fun, but I like to do it my own way.

Keeping up my positive doctrine somewhat succesfully. I've noticed I treat people better and don't have such a strong reaction. Just smile. If you don't feel like smiling - make a grimace making fun of the whole concept of smiling to cheer yourself up. He he. Post irony. Endless layers of irony effectively removing irony and turning it into conflict. But, there is no conflict. I am genuine smiling even when I force myself to it. It just looks a little different. It feels different from genuinely feeling good normally. But it does feel good. Thank God for that.

Last monday I did squats that were strenuous for my wrist and elbows. Low bar back squat. Not very low, but right on my rear delts. As low as possible before you look ridicuous. The way I've been squatting most of the time. What if I strained them more than I should have? I wanna try a different approach. Wide grip low bar only. It's kinda weird, but I'm fat enough for it. Time to go.

Workout

Warmup - none, actually. Just put on my weightlifting shoes and went to the garage.

Squat

20 - 70 - 100 - 140 for 10

Nice. 100 felt epic. 140 - nice enough. I didn't unrack it right, but at least nothing hurted this time. It just was rolling on my back, back and forth.

100 - 50 for 5 - finisher. Felt okay as well.

I feel like i ran out of sugar in my brain. That's how I feel. How you might feel after a long hot day and you really some juice or something. We don't have any juice or milk.

Smiling, smiling, smiling.

I believe in happiness. But I don't want to lie to myself - happiness is an unachievable ideal.

You better just be satisfied with not being unhappy. Nothing will bring you happiness. It's not how happiness is achieved. You don't "get" it. It might come. It might leave. You might allow it to come. That's how you need to be. Let yourself become happy, but don't expect happiness. But let yourself. Be ready to become happy. Be ready to achieve the ideal. But don't expect the ideal to become reality. Be glad for what you have. Be grateful. To whom? To God. To your life. To your being.

Positivity. It's a simpler thing than happiness. It's really ephemerial, but it's an act. Being positive is an act, unlike being happy. Happiness is intrinsic. Positivity is a usable approach. It changes your brain chemistry. And most importantly, you can feel happy. You can feel. But not be. Ideal is not here, not yet. Possibly not in time. Ideal is in eternity. Time itself, however, is also in eternity. So you can feel, and what you feel is real, but you are not it, and it is not you. You are not in it, and it is not in you.

Not yet. Not in time. But it can be real.

There's so many photos from ISS on the site. Another lovely RPotD.
