Fourteenth of November, Monday - All around physical culture, boot mysteries
14.11.2022
Nice day. Slept very little. Slept a lot yesterday though. Yesterday was a very boring day. Did pretty much nothing until the evening. No desire to play video games. In the evening I ordered groceries, including a variety of sweets, such as soda. I've become strangely fond of soda. Might be all the subconscious imaging from Fallout games, ha ha. On saturday I got a pretty heavy headache and had some aspirin, which is something I almost never do anymore. I believe it hinders my anabolism.
Walked a lot today. Wore relatively old socks - they were new not long ago. The hiking boots cracked. They're pretty comfortable. My feet tend to destroy footwear quickly. The boots will still serve for a while. Feet tired. Doing bureaucracy stuff. Been spending money indeliberately. Well, it's november.
I am going through with this. And I am thinking a lot. Wish I could write more. Maybe I will. Not here, though.
Yesterday I watch a silly crime comedy called Novocaine. It's very romantic. Danny Elfman score. Makes you feel good. Typical late 90s - early 00s flick. Very basic. But it did get me involved with characters more and more with every minutes, so I couldn't help myself but finish watching it. Helena Bonham Carter is pretty dreamy. Not a normal type of a woman.
---
Having a second coffee. Bought Lavazza again. It's pretty nice. I think i've started having triple coffees again. Gonna have to go somewhere tomorrow as well.
For quite a while monday used to be my bench day. I'm not doing bench anymore. I should consider doing some really decent pushups, maybe even make them heavier than normal. I've pretty dehydrated. I walked a lot and only had a small cup of tea in the fast food spot. It's a shame how they're selling tea in such small cups. An average teabag is good enough for at least 500 milliliters of decent tea. Tea is just a sligtly more entertaining way to drink water.
I really want my third coffee. I'm not gonna be too busy tomorrow. There's a chance I might not get decent sleep. Well, no, I will. But it's 7 PM already. Well, I know my workout isn't gonna take a lot of time. I think I might do some moderate running today.
I measured time I walk to the train in the morning. It's 9 minutes. Let's measure the distance... Almost 900 meters. So, I guess it's a 100 meters per minute when I'm in a moderate hurry. And I'm heavy. So dehydrated, I tell you, he he. I should learn to take water with me.
I really hope they don't make Fallout 4 Special Edition. That'd be just wack, I tell you, he he. I think I will be able to play. And I will be able to do a moderate amount of running. I think I'll try to do "jogging" in a very laid back manner at first, then some walking, then one street of semi-sprinting. Should be able to do. Why did my boots have to be so frail? He he. Mighty feet. I'm giving my boots bunions. Well, I always wear large foorwear leangth wise, and it's never enough width-wise. Big flippers.
7:50... I'm feeling rather lazy. Well, not really. I just feel like my "excietement bar" hasn't fully filled up. I need to think about working out. I wanna work out like a proper adventurer. Strength matters, of course. I'll do some of it too. When you think about, I am very excited.
Workout
Pretty detailed all-around warmup
Wall pushups - 2 sets
Normal pushups
10 - 20 - 30 - 40 -50
Tried emulating bench, but it wasn't quite the case. There's a technique in which you can pretty much just use your triceps. It wasn't that, only on some reps. Curious.
Nice. Fifty felt good. Strong pumping. Breaks up to 5 mins in the end, but no more (between sets).
Rubber pulls
2 sets of 20 - light rubber
When I'm gonna run today I wanna try walking like a power walker. I have a feeling it's gonna help me save a lot of unneccessarily spent energy.
1 set of 20 - medium rubber
You know, I realise now that cramping's main cause really has to be dehydration. Must drink water more. Or lose some muscle, ha ha ha.
Pullups
18 (17+1) - feels pretty nice, not too hard.
Tried doing absilutely "full" range, but that hurt my shoulders, so I had to keep at least a little tight in the bottom. Wanted to do more, but realised they're all gonna be jerkups. I look freaking humongous in the video. How did that happen? I thought I was lighter that in the summer. Well, I was mega big in summer tho. A portion of subcutaneous fat seems like it has gone. Must be from cardio. Now, how am I gonna do a kilometer run after all that? I gotta cool down a tiny bit.
⏳⏳⏳
My cardio - a kilometer. Set up a song, set up a timer. "Speed walked" for a while. Did not feel in my element, felt very loose on my feet. The front of my feet - toe raiser muscles - started getting insanely pumped. Then I reached the point where I wanted to run and ran for about 1/3 of the road. Had to stop due to overbearing pump in these muscles. Walked the rest of the time funny, forced to raise my knees. The whole thing took 10 minutes. Worse than last time.
At first I thought it must have been all the walking I've done today. But then it hit me - it's the boots. I really tightened them. more than normal. Cause they're bigger than my size length wise they fix my foot in a somewhat of an extended position. I should wear them loose, simple as that. Will try that tomorrow! Maybe even mega-speed-walk to the station.
Well, this was an upsetter, but thankfully the beginning of my workuot went well and my breathing wasn't bad during walking. Altough I seemingly walked at my normal pace. Well, faster first, slower then. I'm gonna work on it innately tomorrow and maybe I'll dedicate some actual working out to it on wednesday.
