October 26th, Wednesday - Poor DL, cardio for the first time in a while

 26.10.2022

Nice day. Slept not too much, decent breakfast. CNS feeling somewhat okay. Nice coffee. Shoulder joint hurts, hips hurt. Don't know why. Don't know what to do. I speculate it might be my small pillow that I've started using (for the shoulder, at least).

Had two coffees. Contemplating going on an adventure - even without caffeine. When this joint pain ends. Usually it takes a couple weeks, at minimum, after a minor injury. Conficted, obviously. Strong pulls in different directions. Life is different now, compared to a year ago, for example. Thankfully, time has slowed down in a nice way.

I really don't like AI art anymore. Awful simulacrum. It was very fascinating at first, of course. But now I hate it intensely. Having my third coffee. I'm gonna be pretty late again.

I realised, by the way, that the porcelain cup makes the coffee much more bitter. It's strongly seasoned. So now I'm drinking it from the glass cup.

9 PM. Fell into a trap of setting up G310... Sometimes it's an endless process. The neck is in a different position now. And I shall do me DLs. Today's plan - 75% for 5 sets of 5. Not too hard.

Workout

No all-around warmup

Deadlift

20

70 for 8 - old school, putting big plates first. Makes more sense.

120 for 5

I remembered - it was a strange, unexpected realisation - that I've had a left shoulder issue for a long time. It did not really hurt too much though, just make a lot of cracking sounds - unlike the right one. Now it's hurting. I must get to the culprit. My current hypothesis - I did squat after bench, and my pecs stayed stiff as I put the bar on my back, so instead of my pecs stretching I got ligaments stretching.

160 for 5 overhand. Grip a little weak

210 for 4 - ran out of energy in my head. I was doing it too casually, unprepared, while multitasking, and too late at night. Bad idea. I always need a good explanation for a bad performance - so I can eliminate these factors next time. Also I am a little ill and I did not get enough sleep. And my conventional mistake - I trained way too late again. That means I spent a lot of energy on other things first. Must fix it.

70 - 2 sets of 15 - wide grip. Felt nice, although fatiguing. Grip felt weak too.

Went on a very short walk for cardio. That's a PR on going on walks for this season 😁 Last time I went on a walk for cardio was in 2017, if I remember it right. Back then I used to do floor press, overactentuating by shoulder rotation to the outside so I can tuck my elbows super hard. Floor press wasn't very good for me. Not a good movement to do regularly. I ended up having a microtear in my pec, like I did recently. Hey, good for me for recovering my pec and having such a nice workout on monday!

I think next tuesday I'll be doing another step in my attempt to go on an adventure and achieve glory. Must find out what I need to do first.

Random picture of the nice - nice, aesthetically pleasing brick building.

I furst assumed it was a train stop.
