Wednesday, June 22nd - PP, Using my maximum doctrine to overcome my monday mistakes
22.06.2022
Nice day. Slept surprisingly a lot. Slept a few hours between midnight and 5 and then between 8-9 to midday. But that's cause I pretty much did not sleep between monday and tuesday. Only a few hours during the day. Despite that, I wasn't tired on tuesday and managed to work a plenty. But I fell asleep early. On monday I got so massively "distracted" after my workout, it's insane. Played AI Dungeon a lot.
Today - calm day, nice. Nutrition - 8/10, way better than last week. Having normal pourover coffee now. 32 grams over 300 something grams of water. Wanna compare the pourover to moka pot.
The taste is really mild and velvety, turning into more and more bitter after every cup. Maybe 300 grams is a lot.
They changed AI Dungeon cause people are dumb. They had an energy system, an actual free-to-play option, you only had to wait when you were out of energy, and most users voted for ads. And now we got silly google ads wasting our time. And even better - I need to use a VPN to get ads. Lovely.
Made a batch of coffee in a moka pot. I made it a little different. More water - 275 grams, about 20 grams of coffee beans. It rushed powerfully, but as expected, the taste is a little diluted. Nice, in the end.
Set up WeChat but found out I need a chinese bank card to use it. Bummer. Well, I didn't get absolutely nothing. I think if I really wanna buy a subscription I will have to make more contacts.
I have 5 sets of 4, going from 112 to 128. Shouldn't be that heavy. My chest got really rekt on monday. I had intense cramps late at night. I'm getting better at dealing with them. All you really need to avoid this is to train more often and be more limber. Well, at I didn't tear anything, eh? Also my narrow grip could have contributed to additional cramping, because with narrow grip you can flex your pecs way harder.
Workout
Overhead press
50
70 and 80 for 4 - creaky right shoulder and rotator cuff, but it gets better with each rep. Did some rubber pulling a-la L-Flys (not flies).
Push press
50 for 4 feels great, grip narrowed
70 for 4 maybe too narrow
Great random news - I actually managed to purchase a 6 month AID subscription. Cost me a pretty penny. Money well spent! I wonder if I should try to buy a Steam version when it comes out.
90 for 4
112 for 4 not great. Suffocating, dizzy.
Decided to utilize my "minimax/supermax" doctrine. 112 is 80% of my "minimax" - so it should be mostly easy to lift. My "supermax" was 155, I think I'm not ready to assign 160 for it. So, today I'm going to use this training doctrine to alleviate my "overtraining" on monday.
112 for 4 - nice, easy push, after a not very long break. Wrist forced to bend a plenty, because I wanyted to try a grip with which I can breathe.
112 for 4 - took a long aerobic break/superset, doing stuff outside
112 for 4 nice enough
Front squat - holding the bar in my hands
50 - 2 sets of 3
70 - 2 sets of 3
90 - 2 sets of 3
Feels satisfying to finally incorporate it. Feels great that I'm not too tired.
Gonna play some AID. And FO76, it's been great fun.
