Twelfth of May, Thursday - Bench, guitar work

Nice day. Feeling a little fatigued from yesterday. Not very busy. Curbed my appetite (cause normally I force it), but I think my body is really demanding nutrients after a deadlift like that. Still, had a smaller than normal breakfast. Worked before, rested, saw a slightly strange but immensely enjoyable dream. What was it about? I dreamed I was in love with Courtney Miller from Smosh, heh. Woke up feeling very good. Energy is nice, but CNS is still fatigued. Had a smaller coffee, and another one. I think I should come off caffeine for a while, since I'm planning to have something like a max out soon. Received my new heat gun, not sure if I'm gonna try using it today. I was pondering whether I should go for heavy PPs today or not. I think I'm not gonna. Kinda wanna do bench and squats. It's 20:34. Pretty late.

Coudn't even finish the second coffee. You know your body doesn't want any more caffeine when the coffee starts to taste bad. I have to find a good balance today.

Started removing the paint off the G310 body with the heat gun. Man, that was a mess, but I really managed to remove a lot. I think there's a thick layer of sealer on it. It got all dinged up. I still have to remove the sides. Very uncomfortable without a workbench. Put on a mask at some point. Still feel not very good in my nose. Silly. At some point I opened the garage but had to close it - for some reason a lot of frogs started jumping in. It was raining.

Maybe I should buy an orbital sander and a mask. In fact, I will buy a mask (with a proper filter). Saying it out loud made me realise how silly it would be not to.

Well, a sander might be pricey, especially considering the lack of workbench. As I was thinking before, this whole endeavor just might cost me enough money to buy a really expensive guitar, ha ha. Well, today I'm feeling calm. I'll take my time and learn. And I'm still confident the end product will be awesome.

I was glad to find out the body wasn't made of plywood, but it definitely was really low quality wood, with uneven colored pieces and "branch roots", if you will (i.e. dark soft spots). Should take a photo next time.

How can I be so tired, oh ho ho. Has the heaviest deadlift session in his life and wonders how he's tired, he he he. If you don't count the three rep set, my median working weight yesterday was 256. And it's still very high even with 235 included - 252,5. And that's a median number! Highest number for a normal power volume session I've ever had. I gotta stay disciplined and reap more fruit of my work.

Despite all this struggling with the guitar I really want to do more. Not even just this guitar. Jumping ahead. I want to buy try making a nice guitar from a kit. Not just assemble it, but do some custom work.

Why do I write all this in english? It is, in fact, mot my native language. Am I cringe? Am I a west lover? Well, no and no. I do it cause I like it. It stimulated my brain ever since I was a child. Reading books in russian stimulates my brain in a similar manner. It's been a long time since I read a full book in english. Read more than a few in the army, when I was afraid I was gonna lose it. I didn't lose it. Refer to my army rant for more detail. You can just search for "army" etc. Not that it matters. I think I might also be a "graphomaniac". It's an old term. Describes people who enjoy writing too much to care about quality. Well, it's a diary right here. Who is it for? Well, me, obviously! I will enjoy re-reading this at some point. And it's a training log. To remember what I've been doing. I oughta record more stuff on video.

Bethesda postponed Starfield. It kind of gives a me a feeling of relief. Cause maybe by then I'll be able to buy it. And stupid western banks will accept my hard earned rubles. And ruble is growing way too strong, isn't it? Ha ha. Which makes me wonder - how come Epiphones are still overpriced since march? Not that I care about it. I bought way too many guitars too quickly. I think it's cause it's mostly a US controlled brand, not just China. China rules, don't they? They somehow leave an impression of the hardest working country in the world. And all sorts of idiots poor souls hate them cause of economy-rooted western propaganda. If we're ever going to be serious about going to space China will have to be at the center of it.
