April Fourth, Two thousand twenty two Anno Domini
04.04.2022
Nice day. Worked, slept, worked, ate, got groceries, junior acolyte helped put em away. Slept some more, had coffee, played my song, didn't write any new stuff, junior acolyte hanged out and seemed to have been inspired for martial arts by my music. Then I let him play Minecraft as I worked out.
By the way - I had less coffee today. Only two moderately sized handfuls (6 small cups over two batches). Cause I didn't know what I wanted to do today. So I decided it's finally time to do forgotten exercises.
First I did some presses and pushpresses with a bar, 47 kgs and 40 kgs - cause, you know, overhead exercises somehow have more meaning than BP. Wouldn't wanna start with just BP, you know?
Bench press
Warmup, then 50
70 - 70 - 80 - 80 - 90 - all sets of 10, nice and easy even though my muscle is really sore and fatigued since 8-rep pushpresses one day ago. Feels good.
Filed the frets on the SQOE guitar with a nail file. I think it turned out somewhat sloppy. Well, at least I got some XP in luthiery. Bruh.
Squat - sets of 10
One set of BW
50 - 70 - 90 - 100
I intentionally didn't squat deep now, controlling the bottom portion, pushing with the whole of my foot.
You know what's kinda cringe? Starting a heavy album with a "light acoustic intro". Baloney. Not my stuff. In fact, you oughta separate all the super melodic stuff from real bangers - if you got any. That way building a playlist is gonna be good. Millenial mindset. Honestly, too much mood shifting in an album is bad too. A small laid back part in a heavy banger is okay - if the second part delivers. Manowar does it, I'm doing it too. But my way. A little weird. I have a part I wish to rewrite. There's a really sloppy one in "Passage Ritual" (song that I'm working on).
I've been thinking of confronting a certain individual about things they've done. And when I say "confront" - I really mean it. Adrenaline fills up my heart as I think of it right now. It would be good if I did it. For why should the evil be unpinished? Why should the evil answer to those they know won't hurt em? If you were a robber - you surely wouldn't want big grown up men witnessing what you're doing, correct? So he shall answer. For he has done things that are evil - and for long. And he has gotten away with it, and pretty much has been rewarded. Yes, I am writing about it. My plan is to confront him - not more than that. But I will be ready for more. Justice needs answers. God's justice shall be served. God, have mercy on me, thy humble servant! Am I really humble? Please, do not humble me down, o Lord, but have mercy on me and my family.
And you, the one reading this - pray for me as well. Or at least wish for something good for me. I'll appreciate it through time and space. If you believe in God - you know he hears prayers from all time, past and future. For he is truly eternal, and His eternity is above eternity.
God, have mercy on me!
A pic of the day - a most definitely more than interesting one

As the title makes clear, the painting depicts Christ as he appeared with the Crown of Thorns (Matthew 27:29; Mark 15:17; John 19:2;) either just prior to, or at the moment when Pilate shows him to the people with the words "Ecce Homo" ("Behold the Man!") (John 19:5). The theme of "Christ Crowned with Thorns" also sometimes refers to "a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief." (Isaiah 53:3)
Antonello's Christ Crowned with Thorns (1470) is one of the most penetrating and evocative portrait paintings of Jesus known to art, more powerful even than the pain-racked Christ of the Isenheim Altarpiece (c.1515, Unterlinden Museum, Colmar) by Matthias Grunewald (c.1475-1528). In the picture, Jesus is given a typically rustic peasant face with a broad nose, and looks helplessly at the viewer, his mouth half-open in shock and anguish. His eyes seem to express a deeply-felt sorrow for what is to happen, and for the pain caused and endured by humanity. Some art critics regard this particular portrait as the quintessential humanist work of the Italian Renaissance, in which man-is-God-is-man.
Some time later
I wanted to test my phone - see if I can livestream well. Well, it lost 82% of the battery in 8 minutes, so I'm not sure.
I tried to stream on my old account, but couldn't. So I had to log into Sparkfinger to see if it can. It could!
I experimented with E Mixolydian mode with flat 6th. Then I looked at that flat 6th - and after some more confusion I found out it's Lydian Augmented Scale. For some reason i couldn't see that it also ahs a sharp 5th. Well, it is past midnight. Or you could call it "Phrygian flat root" but then it would be confusing. Ha ha. I wonder if people with musical education ever make jokes like this.
Another thing I found out as I was playing guitar earlier - I was doing a playthrough of As Yggdrasil on my SQOE (PRS-style strat) and really nicked the base of my index finger again. So I eded up filing the frets quite ferociously, realising I don't care if the finished gets damaged. What am I willing to do to get rid of pain? Please, pray to God for me! God, please have mercy on me! I am lost. I can admit it. I'm not "lost" the same way I was before. I am lost in this situation. God have mercy!
