Let's write about life. What has this blog been about? Workouts, of course, casual things in life, my experiences and an occasional droplet of something actually philosophical. Which, of course, drowns and dissolves in this ocean of casuality. That's why if you wanna be a thinker you must actually write books. Not some random sprinkles of your barely founded thoughts.

Well, let's talk about last week. Stress isn't really a bad thing. The worst thing about "stress" - in our case, we almost always mean "nervous stress" - is the fact that it fatigues your nervous system. Oh, it used to be worse. I'd lie at nights listening to my fricking heartbeat as adrenaline kept pushing all over me. Recently, I've been experiencing similar things. And I came to conclude that no one around me is actually understanding it. To be fair, I only cared about one person understanding it, and they were never willing to try to comprehend my experiences. Maybe I'm wrong. In the end, I start to feel like I care about nothing. Perhaps I should just give into some of my impulses and whatever happen will happen. Bad idea. But I will be doing something - when the time comes. It might never come, and it'll be okay. But if it does come - I must do something.

This so called "stress" has been backing down since yesterday. Once again, I feel mighty and powerful. Thank God for that. My sleeping isn't perfect (46/100). But enough about that. My nutrition hasn't been that great either, but it's also okay (5/10). CNS recovery - somewhat alright, it has to be around 59 or maybe even 60 something out of 100.

Today, now, I am once again just having my good ol' coffee, and browsing internet, listening to some music, play a tiny bit of AI Dungeon as I feel somewhat alive. That's one of the things I like to do before a workout.

Deadlift - nice warmup, opening up my hips with kneeling hip thrusts, possibly overstretching connective tissue in my legs during some squats. Don't stretch like I did when I did.

Warmup

50

100 for 4

150 for some reps - one tendon started hurting

190 for 8 - relatively easy, should be easier, more of a cardio exercise. It's 70% of 271.

200 for 8 - easier, sped up the reps and lockouts, gotta know how to pace yourself. Also listened to music.

210 for 8 - easier, cardio better. I wish pre-breathing was a thing, huh? Well, it might be, to a degree. How? I dunno, something about diaphragm activation. More importantly, you gotta activate your breathing through CNS. Just tell your body to be ready. Trust me, it works.

210 for 8 - nice, just nice. The first reps were super swift. I reckon this kinda workout has to do something good for my cardio. Now for some lighter stuff.

Now I gotta figure out what I'd like to do. Stretching for olympic lifts? Good idea, I reckon.

Did some stretching a-la putting a bar on my chest with a stick tied to a rubber band. Feels nice. Another idea - make it so it's pulling backwards, not just down.

A complex - ez bar 37 kg, three presses, hold on top. hold on the botton, then push jerk - 5 set

Overall, the median weight in DL today was 202.5, which is 70% of roughly 290. Very nice. I'm doing better and better. IIRC, I thought I had a volume PR when I did 5 sets of 8 with 190. Well, today is more than that, so let me rejoice in that old joy I had, and know I have much better strength endurance.

I really wanna do some swimming. Ain't that weird? Kinda even thinking of going to the pool. I wonder if they got caps for sale.
