Enfix functional creation (literature) - February 28th, Monday

I almost bought a Checter C-6 Deluxe. I ordered it, but they returned the money. Someone else got it first. I don't like stingthroughs from an aesthetic point of view. But tuning stability on them is so good, I heard. And I want a 25.5 inch scale guitar. I heard an opinion that 24.75 scale has intonation problems. Not a big deal though. I like my SG a lot.

Maybe I should buy monitors after all. That would be better. I wonder if I'd be able to use my monitors as normal entertainment speakers.

Ordered another guitar. A PRS homage. It's cheaper and has cashback as well. And I'll have to wait for a while, which sort of offsets my spending. I mean, what's the big deal? You know, I bought cause I'm hoping it'll help me stop spending money on things that don't last, like takeouts, for example. Takeouts provide a nice psychological relief, and when I think about it - it doesn't sound that healthy. Similar to stress eating and stress spending. It provokes a hormonal release in your brain. Maybe I should find different ways to relieve myself. I spent way too much money on takeouts in the last few years. With all these money I could have bought three intermediate guitars. Or one expensive one. Ha ha.

Today's workout will feature OHPs, PPs and maybe some forgotten muscle groups. And a bit of squats, maybe heavier than last time.

The springtime sure is close. It's 6PM, and the sun is still out.

Overhead press

Warmup

90*2

100*7 kinda bad technique

100*8 better

Today I was laid back with numbers, so I thought of marking down 100 - 5 of 8 as a checkpoint. Then I decided to curb OHP for the sake of PPs and maybe BPs, cause I've been into PP lately. I need results in it.

Pushpress (PP) - singles

50

70

100

130 couldn't completely lock out my right arm due to wrist immobility. Lame. Also dropped my headphones. They better deliver me some new earbuds soon. They've been postponing it. Working poorly. I guess I can count this as a rep - if I fix my wrist issue some time soon. Cause I lifted it all the way. What's imporant is that it was very easy and didn't require any special preparation. With my shoulder strength I really should be doing massive weights. At least 25 kgs above my OHP. I remember the old days. My technique used to be awesome.

100 okay, wrist is wrong though

Thinking about doing front squats. Ten reppers are probably not such a great idea - due to harder technique.

Front squat

10 bw

37 for 8

50*8 holding loose, had to let go (onto the clavicle)

70*8 kinda hard, holding it tight

That's about it for the workout. Wish I had more enrgy after this to make music. But I feel like I have less energy today. Need better sleep, better discipline. So it could be like autumn of 2020. Tunnel vision every day.

Rubber pulls

20 reps - medium stretch

Pullups

10 reps with rubber support

10 bodyweight

10 reps with a small rubber resistance - feels good, kinda hard. It adds roughly 10 kgs, I think.
