Nice day. Woke up earlier. Nice breakfast. Recovery = nice. But monday was a really heavy day. So, I've been feeling hungrier and calmer during my coffee drinking.

Overhead press

Warmup, 70 and 90 for 3 reps - joints feeling really stiff, need time to recover

Bench press

50*10

50*20

And that was about it for the moment. Well, monday the heaviest session I've had since november. Still not sure if I've never done 230*5. I most probably did do it before.

I really want to switch from Fallout 76 back to Fallout 4. And start a new playthrough with Survival mode. It's gonna be fun, similar to how I used to play in the past. Not the same, of course, but similar. I like high damage gameplay in these games. And I'm not even going to enable fast travel until I reach some kind of milestone. Because fast travel is an important part of these games, since the start. More importantly - it saves time, as fun as walking around is. I want to play with the new mod - Sim Settlements 2. But before that I kinda want to beat Nuka World. Maybe I'll play around until my character is at least a little bit powerful - like, level 10, and then play through it before I meet Preston. Because I really love the Minutemen in Fallout 4, and rebuilding society is so great. You get praised, and you feel praised. You feel like you're doing a good. My favorite moment of the game has to be retaking The Castle. I just love it so much. The music in there is awesome - whether soundtrack or radio, and the style of the castle is incredibly inspiring. It reminds so much of Corsairs game series (aka Sea Dogs). I still haven't beated Sea Dog part plus three. I don't rememeber how it's called. It's sandbox open world. There was a Pirates of the Carribean game first, then there was a mod that was basically this game, then there was this game separately. I haven't beated the Pirates of the Carribbean either. I must have been twelve or younger when I played it for the first time. I should have been palying these games more. I remember how i was incredibly bored in spring 2009, before The Sims 3 release. I should have been playing those games. And I should have agreed to get a new laptop when my dad offered me one. I had stupid "frugal" stereotypes and didn't have a PC of my own. He was right. And he's been gone for a long time. HE would have helped to do things in life. Other people didn't help. No, they did not. Some tried, but they didn't. Trying to help doesn't equal helping, especially if you got wrong ideas. I wonder if I'm greedy or lazy, cause I feel like people that I relied on acted greedy and lazy towards me. A long time ago, that is. What people? Doesn't matter. Not who you think. What matters is that there's no alternative present. And there's no time travel. And you should never dream of time travel and what would have been. That way you're getting expectations that can't be fulfilled. You should rather dream of what might be. Not what would have been if something else happened. And what do I dream about? Hard to say. I end up seeing myself as uncle Fester Addams. Doing my stuff, being mostly alone and content. That's the role he's playing. Such awesome movies.

Nice day. Have stuff to do in the evening. Recovery = almost okay.

Except I've actually been standing too much and tiring out connective tissue in my legs. Literally standing for hours, and today I'm having issues.

That's because I've had way too much fun today. I started a new playthrough of Fallout 4 in Survival mode. And I think I got the basics of it, so now it's mostly about travelling very slowly. I was having way too much fun. And before that I a lot of fun in AI Dungeon. And some time later I played Fallout 76 and got some score points.

Today I tried squatting. Left side of my groin hurts, and my hip hurts. So, I think I have to develop a new policy for myself - and that is to constantly make breaks from standing up. Every hour, or maybe even 45 minutes. Funny stuff. Not sedentary, but stationary lifestyle. Normal people wouldn't be able to handle this (mentally - mostly because they wouldn't believe there's a reason to do it). I just do it cause I believe it helps. And, well, my back is no longer stiff. But other things are real.

So, I did a lot of BW squats in different variations, experiencing discomfort and trying to figure it out.

After roughly three sets

Kettlebell goblet squat

16 kg for 15 reps

32 kg for 15 - nice, not much pain. Hard for cardio and abs! Well, it feels like it's hard for cardio cause I'm bracing a lot, and thus holding my breath.

Kettlebells front squat

32 + 16 kgs for 15 reps - nice. 32 on the left side, and the left leg got more pumped. Funny. I've never done anything like this before, so you could say it's a PR xD Maybe I'll want to buy a second 32 kg kettlebell one. They're dangerous though. I tore my finger it, silly.

That's about it. Maybe I'll done more after a break. Really hyped to play FO4 much later.

After doing some repeatable evening quests, it's time to work out some more. I should have considered approaching yesterday as an actual "light" session. Do you my post-illness resolution to not overwork? Well, I guess I'm somewhat succesfull at it. I wasn't succesful at it this summer. I worked out hard enough, but not systematically enough, too lazy to think about what I'm doing, not thinking about saving extra energy for recovery.

I think I wanna help my shoulders recover with some light work.

Dumbbell press

6+6 kgs - 2 sets of 16

17+17.5 kgs - 3 sets of 15

And that was it for the day.
