Mega training montage (epic +110%)
22.11.2021
Nice day. Slept all day yesterday - on free time, of course! I'd be ashamed if I cancelled my repeatable quests to sleep. Sometimes it does happen. I need to figure out a way to avoid it.
Woke up at 1AM. Surfed the web. Watched a cool movie - Ex Machina (2014). It's a kinda movie that makes ask question - and then you're the one who has to answer them. A lot of those questions are obvious, but some are not.
Had nice thick coffee. You always gotta rest between coffee days. The one today tasted great. Cause I didn't have any yesterday. You gotta let your brain rest. That's how all pleasures work. Well, healthy pleeasures - actual addiciton will enslave you to do stuff until you're dead. Even alcohol kills some weak-willed people. It's a powerful depressant, you now. Ask yourself - do you really wanna be depressed? Cause you will be, if you do alcohol.
Enjoyed my coffee, surfed the web some more in the evening. Not feeling very productiove video-wise.
Shoulders feel really fatigued and tight since saturday. I had issues with it, despite a lot of warmup and some careful stretching. It has to be careful when you're sore.
Overhead press - tried monkey grip today, the one with the thumb under the bar
Warmup
50
70
90 for 3
100 for 3 pretty strict, medium load
105 for 3 slightly better
110 for 2 and a half - changed my grip from monkey to conventional, really tightened my wrist and it literally stopped me from locking out. Cause I was working with my wrist agains my shoulder!
Waited, changed the grip to angled - so the left is higher, and thus the angle for my right wrist is less tight
110 for 3 - much better, pretty strict, medium-hard (RPE roughly 77%)
And yeah, RPE can't correlate to actual percentages when you're training. It has to be lower. And it's percieved, so that's possibly quite incorrect.
My plan today was 82,5% for 4 sets of 3, and I decided to curb it, seeing how I'm training more often, switching it up a bit. Plus I had some more upper body work planned. It ended up not being PP.
Carried a 55 kg heavy bag (up to my chambers) - a tiny bit of cardio, he he.
Did about 4 sets of mostly practicing my doubles and triples. Noticed I tend to push the bag, like a noob. So, on the last set I practiced some Scaredy Cat Kung Fu - jumping in and out, making sure to retract my limbs as quickly as possible. In fact, I kinda wanna share it today. Let's see... Don't forget, I'm a lil noob! I only really hope to "be ready when the time comes", ha ha.
I ended up mkaing a funny montage. So I guess I had some creative power burning deep within me. It's kind of a shitpost, isn't it? 😁😂😃
Random picture of the day
Suzuki Katana - pretty cool mode of transportation, when there are no cars on the road 😁
