I've been such an unpleasant person recently - or that's how it feels, at least. Sort of unnecessarily strained.
The №1 reason I wanna buy a telecaster is cause it's more unique for metal.
Been busy today. Managed to wake up earlier. Must not do things long past midnight. I screwed it all up massively cause I spent so much time editing a video on monday night/tuesday morning. But, thankfully, my training has been rather great.
I decided to buy a vertical mouse, and it arrived today. Feels very awkward so far, and it requires small batteries, and I don't have rechargeable small batteries. I hope it can help my wrist.
After some time - it feels less awkward. It's already 6PM. Is it late?
Today we're not having any heavy sessions - just squat and bench, I hope. If I did my OHP's on wednesday I could've considered making today another OHP day.
When I think about it - I wanna do pushpress. I just have to. Just like last week. Maybe nothing heavy. I must adjust correctly. How do I make sure I can stop random pain from stopping me?
I think I have to warmup for PPs with moderately heavy presses. Maybe up to 80 kgs - should be light enough and heavy enough. Don't make them too strict. Strict is the enemy of powerful. Well, not enemy, but it drags the power down. It's a slightly more "unnatural" way to move, I'd say. You can't do "strict punches" in boxing. No isolation. Weightlifting has absolutely nothing "strict" in it - only confines of technique, which don't always make sense.
Learning some music theory. A diminished chord is the one with a flat 5th - a tritone. And it's supposed to have a minor third, else it becomes an inversion of another chord?
A half-diminished one has a root, a minor third, a diminished fifth an a dominant 7th. Interesting.
I'm such a glutton for looking at guitars. Now I understand people who buy i-phones. I don't need it, but I want it so much for some reason. Well, not enough to spend my money anyway. Gotta be cautios these days.
Just had some beta alanince and a certain skinny part of some libm is tingling in a rather hilarious manner. How funny. Beta alanine is great as a placebo. I talked about it before. It increases your endurance slightly. Worth the money? Not necessarily, but the tingling is a lot of fun.
I've been enjoying AI Dungeon way too much recently. It's like the old days are back, ha ha. I love autumn. Very atmospheric. Sometimes you wish for some adventures, but then you unwish them, because adventures aren't as great as people think. Some of them are good. They're great to reminisce about. But in the moment they might be something you wish would end. Suffering.
Overhead press
Warmup
50 - 70
80 for 8 - feels nice, shoving that bar right above the clavicle, puffing up air
Pushpress
Warmup
50
70
90 for 3
100 for 1
90*1
100*1 - I think I did two or three sets here, slowly widening up my grip, realising I REALLY need to inhale the air, become the cloud man
110*1 - two or three sets, not sure. And I filmed in vertical, so i can't even see how much!
115*1
117*1 okay, better than before. Great!
Later, out of the garage
Front squats, 7 kg bar
3 sets of 15
Goblet squats, 16 kg kettlebell
3 sets of 15
My legs have gotten way more flexible, and now I can squats with heels on the floor while keeping the torso almost completely vertical. Nice.
Then I decided to do some kneeling ab crunches with an expander on the pullup bar. A lot of fun. I think it helps me relax my back.

You know, I realised that "RPE" might mean something else - it doesn't mean the amount of reps you'd feel like you'd be able to do. A little bit of a misconception there in my head. I gotta watch some more videos and report here. I oughta be sufficiently knowlegdeable.
So yeah, it's different. RPE7 would mean "hard", and 8 - very hard. 9 - almost max, and 10 is max.
That means, uh, that on monday I did my 240 DLs with roughly 6 RPE I would say. When you think about, 7 would fit as well. I was making it into a powerful move, but that doesn't mean it was easy.
You always have to make your lifts powerful. Must not try to lift slowly - unless it's some kind of super specific accessory work, and I can't really fathom what kind. When you're DLing you're not lifting "slowly" - you're lifting as quickly as you can without breaking your form. Cause if you jerked it you'd have a worse technique. When you're DLing you gotta accelerate the weight either toward or past the "sticking point", which is either belove or abole knees - for people with different proportions. Mine is right below my knees. Which is why doing some tiny deficit DLs would probably be a nice choice for me.
Finished reading current OPM comic recently - it's rouhly exactly where it was two years ago. But I still enjoyed it. It's a very different kind of storytelling art than what I'm used to.

I wanna write down a question from quora, cause I've been playing with the fretboard to figure out the location of these chords:
"Why do half-diminished chords go nicely with dominant seventh chords? For example, {F▵⁷ | F▵⁷ | Fᵐ⁷ | B♭⁷ | Aø | D⁷ | Gᵐ⁹ | C⁷} That tense 'Aø' has this soothing release when it hits 'D⁷'."
I suspect that's one of those bot-generated questions, cause that's how Quora works, apparently. Funny repetitive questions. Just like any other perpetually entertaining media. Not much new, just recycled s... tuff. That's why good shows don't last for 30 seasons. Unless, perhaps, there could be a gimmick that could make an unneccessarily long show very interesting?..
