Saturday 30th - trying to plan out a youtube schedule
30.10.2021
Nice day. Energy right now - around 65/100.
But I gotta admit something. After getting that thing I yearned for for so long I've been feeling pressure. Been nervous all night after thursday for some reason. Maybe it's my training and caffeine poisoning though, haha. I haven't had a "really nice" workout on thursday in what feels like quite some time. So that might mean more CNS load. I've been postponing working on new videos and just sleeping. Yesterday I had some repeatable quests in the morning, so I did some and went back to sleep, still totaling very little. Then I went to sleep early after having eaten a rather moderate amount of food - maybe I've having too much candy, admittedly. I oughta share. Still didn't get enough sleep. I remember last time I had way too much candy - in april, when I was playing FO76 for the first time. I also had diet and energy problems. Refined sugar is distracting from normal food. Today I had some buckwheat, small amount of pork and over a 100 grams of aforementioned candy. And roughly 600 ml of milk, not sure. Gotta share this candy with junior acolytes.
Well, I know what can help me deal with this "business pressure" - a schedule. Oh yes. At first I thought of going back to doing 1 video a day. Now I realise I might not be ready. I'll take my time getting back into it. I still want some time to do music - in my last season I barely had any time for it. Still made one song though, unline now. Well, I've been making a lot of short tracks, so that's something. And, most importantly, I'll be making music a part of my youtube career. Ah, what a word - "career". It has too many implications. Not sure if I like it, ha ha. But acknowledging it helps me deal with my presumptions. I know I can be original in many ways.
Anyway, here's a rough draft for my schedule on Sparkfinger channel -
Monday: AI games video
Tuesday: filming, editing and writing another video, possibly having some rest and recovery
Wednesday: Music related video
Thursday: filming, editing and writing another video
Friday: not sure, maybe a video, or an occasional livestream
Saturday: a "world" video - maybe something sensational, like reading Wikipedia, copying so many youtubers, one of my favorite "science youtubers" being Count Dankula with his "Mad Lads" series. Wikipedia is truly a treasure trove. But you have to try and be more original.
Sunday: maybe another video, cause weekends are great for viewership. Maybe I'll postpone a monday video to be released on sunday - that can work better.

And I have to remind myself - there can be no quality without quantity.
That means I might be doing something close to "shitposting". BUT I will make it mine. Original. I have the energy, the fire still burning inside my soul. Something to tell, some "thing" to express, to make people feel. My beloved people, whom I've misunderstood as a child. But then the revelation came. What was it? Well, I've talked about it once before. Before I entered my university I was thinking about my role in the society. What do I want to be? How do I justify doing what I do? How is there going to be meaning? And I decided, since I was going to such an extravagant establishment, that I was going to be a philosopher and a teacher to the people. How is that working out so far? Well, quite directly, if you look at my repeatable quests. Language is a part of philosophy, isn't it? Giving names to things and creating rules for the people to follow in order to establish a system of communication and understanding. That's some quite practical philosophy.
I've beeing trying to fix a water filter that we have for the drinking water. Today I came up with an idea to slug it in and avoid the broken filter tub, cause it's possible. Now I'm struggling to find a replacement tub. I've bought and returned so many already. This time though I'm gonna be smarter and try it on before I accept it. I didn't even realise it was an option.

You know, I just realised
I did sets of 5 instead of sets of 4 on my last workout! I was supposed to do 80% - 5 sets of 4! And instead I did 4 sets of 5! Wow. Not the first time it happened to me. Thankfully, this time I didn't really fail the workout.
Next in line is 82,5% for 4 sets of 3 - and one strict rep of 85%, ideally. Not sure if I should do it today, honestly. But I feel like I could. I have extra energy.
So, I'd be doing 111 kgs for 4 sets of 3. Hmmm... Am I really ready for it today, CNS and all? I have to make a wise decision. Realistically, I should make today a lighter day and preserve some CNS energy. Hmm...
Either way. we're going to devote this session primarily to pressing movements.
I have an idea - let's do pushpresses on the "fresh" shoulders! See how the technique changes, if it's going to be less stiff for me. If I'll be able to actually put the bar on my clavicle, and beyond it, like in the old days when my shoulders and upper back were much more flexible. Maybe I'll even get close to heavy weights - 120 would be quite heavy, actually, realistically thinking.
---
Finally, the workout.
I started with pushpress warmup - some presses, some leg moves, high bar squat 50 for 10. Then I pushpressed 50 for 2 or 3 reps. Then i decided to put 150 kgs on the bar and hold it on my chest to stretch my old shoulders. It was too much, so I lowered it to a 100. Then I did roughly 12 sets of holding the bar in this position. I forgot the old trick - you're supposed to hold it in your arms first, then lower it to the clavicle by lifting the elbows up. I only did it in the end. I almost didn't hurt my wrist at 50. And I used wrist supports as well. Anyway, that was it for the garage - just a lot of stretching with a barbell.
I bit my tongue yesterday. And now my throat is hurting as well. How curious. Don't wanna record anything.
My legs are way less sore though, hehe. Just had to work out a tiny bit. Barely did anything at all. Stretching might be hard though. I know it's quite dangerous for a lot of people. In fact, I'm quite confident that stretching without any actual exercizing is straight up bad for you.
Did some L-flys (not flies) with 2 kg dumbbells.
Pushups - using dumbbells as handles
30 feels nice for my wrist, I can sort of shift the weight away from it, closer to the heel of my palm. Not doing wide grip pushups ever again! They're just bad - as an exercise. Not lifting up my elbows either. The way i'm doing pushups is great. They way I've been trying to do it for a while was awful. I was mistaken to believe that falring out my elbows is going to activate my pecs, and kept hurting myself instead. That's why you may want to have a coach - someone smart that will remember this stuff for you. I can remember it as well, but it takes experience in more specific fields, hehe.
30 more pushups. Very easy. And I'm locking out my arms every time. I need to think of a way to make them harder. Maybe it's not necessary - it's just an accesory exercise. You need the minimal load with maximal benefit from them. Don't let yourself go around setting PRs in those exercises - unless you really want to, ha ha. But that can, potentially, distract you from your priority exercises. Not necessarily of, course, but that's the concept.
30 more - I made it harder by using the good old rubber band. Actually got pumped a little bit! THat's nice. And it oughta be good for developing my CNS. Well, anything involving your nervous system is potentially good for "developing" it - i.e. adjusting it. Wow, that sound incredibly unscientific, lol.
30 more with the band - feels great. Had some snacks after it to supplement the juicly swoleness.
Next, a cardio/pumping complex -
6 kg dumbells - 20 curls, 20 press-flys, and 20 bodyweight squats - 4 sets - surprisingly pumped both my arms and legs instead of just going into "endurance mode".
Wrist curls - 6 kg dumbbells underhand, no weight overhand - 3 sets of 20. I decided to stop using weight for overhand curls, so I don't potentially aggravate my wrist injury. It might have been doing it, despite light weight.
And that's about it for the day.
