Here's a reminder for me - this post

23.01.2020

Nice day. Woke up at 3AM. Started falling asleep around noon. Decided to have a cup of instant coffe to supress my headache from swollen arteries (I guess). It came back, but then I had some more coffee. Spent way too much time drinking coffee before the session. On a good note - I succesfully managed to fot almost everything into 90 minutes of a training session, even though I did get distracted. The caffeine made me overly uninhibited, so I became too emotional when I though that someone had stolen something that belonged to me. But they didn't steal it - they just picked it up and dropped it in a dark corner, behind an object. Still, I was too emotional. Silly me for hacing so much caffeine. Well, it helped me, in a way, to reset (hopefully) my sleep schedule, this time much more succesfully. I spent 21 hours awake, which is only a few hours more than normal (after the session). Here's the session itself -

Rubber lat pulls - 30 reps

Floor supported ring pullups - 40 reps - decided to stop here, since my brachioradialis started cramping. It was a good thing, since I was in a hurry.

Bench

Warmup

110 - 2 sets of 10

120*10 a bit harder than I wanted

125*8 sort of a minor fail, haha

100*15

Well, the plan today was 110 - 5 sets of 10. I guess I exceeded it, but I was undisciplined. Gotta have more discipline.

Did some drumming today - my new hi hat made of a thin cheap crash and a heavy bootom cymbal sounds really nice. Recorded a couple basic snippets, maybe I'll jam to them later.

Recorder some vocals for Yggdrasil before that. I need to restructure the lyrics and rewrite some of them.

Squat

Warmup

70 - 2 sets of 15 - nice and easy. It's lovely how easily my legs got into a much better shape just from me doing aome bodyweight squats last time. They feel so much less stiff! I can jump around a lot. Gotta keep yourself more flexible, every day. Dance a bit, or something like that.

On monday I'm going to be deadlifting, hopefully. It's going to be a very simple workout - sets of 5 with 200 and 234 for 1. I'm not going to be maxing out after the DL program is done. I'll wait for a while and recover my CNS, since you just not on your peak power after a week or so of heavy work. Monday is medium load though, the next two after that are going to be heavy. Really looking forward to some pushpresses and presses as well. And more squat. Gotta remember the physical culture quintathlon - bench, dl, sq, press and pullups. They're the majority of what you need to be physically cultured, in terms of strength and strength endurance, at least. I gotta not shy away from doing more reps. My recent experiences proved to me that I automatically start doing too little when I'm trying to peak my strength, and that's just not enough to keep up my energy levels and CNS power. It's all about balance. For me, that means doing high(er) rep sets from frequently. Have to remember that. That's why I'm writing. I allowed myself to write everything that I think. Of course, my train of throughs is slowed down due to my writing. Well, at least a layer (surface layer) of it is. Under the speech layer I'm still thinking at normal speed - supposedly. What is normal? We actually can't measure other people's train of throughts' speed. So I guess it's "normal" in comparison to myself.

I'm watching a funny education video by vsauce - here https://youtu.be/zHL9GP_B30E

And you can guess why I decided to go ahead and finally write down my yesterday's session. I want to remember more. I was always proud of my memory (to a degree). I remember so much, especially from my childhood. Somehow, those memories always seemed so valuable. They still do. I wish i remembered the early 2010's better. They're a bit more smudgy. But I have a lot of video material, as well as my diaries. You'd think that keeping a diary is the thng that makes you forget. It's possible, but there's actually no reason to assume that, so I'm discarding that hypothesis.
