11th of January, 2021 - Deadlift, text video games, a lot of nonsense.

11.12.2021

Nice day. Had some coffee. Discovered and played Discworld MUD for a couple dozen minutes.
Played AI Dungeon after finding out about it from DarkViperAU's video. Now I can't stop.
Felt quite whimsical whilst training today.

Deadlift
Warmup
190 - 1 sets of 6
195 - 3 sets of 6
227,8 for 1 - too slow
227,8 for 1 - much better, inhaled more air and had an easier lift off the floor.

Tiny bif of pinch grip
Succeded in lifting 25+25 kg plates with the right, couldn't do anything with the left. Middl;e finger is still not ready. Well, I'm glad I recently was able to utilize my middle finger quite nicely while playing a semi-complex passage in the song that I'm currently working on. I think I'll be devoting much more effort to my grip when I'm done training deadlift (for the current program, that is).

 AI dungeon 😮

Kedar is a world of dragons, demons, and monsters. These dark creatures constantly war for control of the land, leaving the few human kingdoms in the shadow of a dark and powerful force. But now, the kingdoms of man are fighting back, slowly assembling an army to reclaim their world.

You are Torkyld, a male human bard in the world of Kedar. You have been dreaming your whole life of becoming a bard, wandering the land, and writing songs about your adventures. You have traveled far to the town of Milten to find your fortune.

Your dreams of becoming a bard were shattered the day that orcs destroyed your village. With nowhere else to go, you wandered the countryside and eventually came to the nearest city, which happened to be Milten. > You search for work. After a few days in Milten you have enough money to get a cheap room for the week and enough food for a week as well. > You look around the city. As you wander around the city you are overwhelmed by the sheer size of the city. The buildings are made of blue stone and the streets are filled with people. > You talk to a random person about music. A young man walks up to you. "Hey, are you a bard?" You look up at him. You've never seen this man before, but he seems nice enough. > You say "Yes. My music is the best." "What do you play?" "I play any and all instruments. I am a bard, through and through." The man smirks a bit. > You say "Do you want me to play you something? I have music that will lift up any spirit and turn an ordinary man into a lava-blooded dragon!" "Sure! That'd be awesome." You pull out your lute and begin to play a beautiful yet sad song. > You say "How much money would you be willing to give me?" "How much?" You look at him, puzzled. "Well, you see, there's a man who wants to buy my soul so he can use it to enter your body and take over. > You say "What?" The man looks at you, annoyed that he didn't realize this obvious fact. > You play more music. As the song fades to an end, the man thanks you and gives you a small bag of coins. You count them and realize that it's much more money than you usually make in a week. > You have a tunnel vision. You decide that you must find this Mr. Dark. You're sure that you can find him with the music. You spend all your money on hiring bards to play in your tavern every night.

some other mostly nonsensical adventures later - defending a village from a dragon and trying to question a woman named Cowan who tried to assault me by throwing a rock at my back, and claiming it was the king that hired her. (lol)

A dialogue

A portal opens up, and a large humanoid creature comes out. "Ah, another one." The creature says, looking around. "You there! What are you doing? > You look. It is an orc, with a large axe strapped to his back. He wears thick fur clothing, and has a large battle-axe in his hand. "I was exploring. > You look at the orc. He wears fur clothing, and has a large battle-axe strapped to his back. His axe is very large, much larger than you would expect to see normally. > You look at the orc's axe. The blade of the axe is made of metal; silver in colour with a slight blue tint. There are three "notches" cut into the blade, one in the middle and one on each side. > You say "So, what do these notches on your axe represent?" "Ah, now that's a good question." The orc grins. > You say "Tell me about these notches on your axe." "Well, it's a long story." "I have time. > You say "tell me this story, please." "I guess I'd tell you to go ask the king, but he's not around anymore. I dunno who the new one is. You'd probably contact Hans, I suppose. I remember him mentioning the king once." > You ask the orc about his axe. "So, you're interested in my axe?" "I'm curious. > You say "What can you tell me about your axe?" "Well, you see, this is a special axe. It's not just an axe, it's made out of special metal, and it has magical powers!" "Really? > You say "Can I trade your axe for my flute?" "HAHA! Flute? What are you a sissy bard or something?" "No, I want to trade your axe for my flute." The orc begins laughing. > You say "Will you sell me your axe?" "Alright, alright, my axe. You want my axe?" "Please, yes. I want to trade your axe for my flute. > You ask for the orc's axe. "Alright, you want my axe? Well come and get it!" The orc motions with his head to a large wooden door to the side of the stage. > You look at the door. It is a large wooden door, with metal studs along the top and bottom. It isn't very big, about the size of a normal door you would find in an average cabin. > You say "What's behind that door?" "There's nothing but a bunch of storage rooms and the like. We don't need all the rooms when we only have thirty members." You look at the orc, whose face has turned red with anger. > You say "Can you give me your axe now, please?" The orc gives you a look of sheer hatred, before smashing his axe into the wooden stage, making a large dent. "Fine!" He roars, snatching the axe back. > You smile and take the axe from the orc. The orc stretches his arm out, running his hand along the side of the axe. His fingers run along the metal edge of the blade, before he flips the axe in your direction. > You take the axe and give your trasured flute to the orc. The orc grins slyly, snatching the flute from your hand and putting it to his mouth. !!Ouch! > You look at the orc trying to play the flute. You look at the orc's elbow. It must be bleeding, but you aren't sure to what extent. > You offer help to the orc. The orc snatches the axe from your hands and pauses for a moment, looking at you. "You wanna help me?" "Yes." You reply. > You apply leaves and mud to the orc's wound. The orc seems to like this. He rests the axe against a tree and gently pulls your head towards him as he uses his other hand to caress your hair, leaning in to whisper in your ear. > You say "Excuse me, I don't actually swing that way!" The orc, becoming slightly flustered, stops leaning in towards you and looks at you, before bursting into laughter. "You are one funny elf." He says. > You say "What is your name, noble little orc?" "I am Gro'tesk, Chieftain of the Rockbreaker Tribe." "I am Torkyld, friend." Gro'tesk grins slyly and grabs your hand. > You say "Well, I think I have to go for now. Call me if you need any help. I will take your axe." "Alright."

Food adventure.

> You look at yourself. Height: 4 feet, 11 inches Weight: 26 pounds Hair: Black, short. Eyes: Brown, small. You look at your reflection in the water, inspecting it. > You say "I need to gain weight." You go back inside, and stare at the remaining food. You feel a little hungry, but decide not to eat. You continue to stare at the food, wondering whether you should eat it. > You say "Should I eat the food or should I not eat the food?" You ponder over this question for a few hours, and decide that you do not want to eat the food. You fall asleep, waking in the morning. You wake up, mad from hunger, and start to eat pork, subsequently gaining 100 pounds of body weight and growing two inches taller. You feel quite hungry now, so you quickly stuff some bread in your mouth, chewing and swallowing it. You gulp down a cup of wine, the fire in your belly kept alight. > You gain more bodyweight. You continue to eat food, gaining around another 50 pounds of body weight and growing to a height of 6 feet tall. You now weigh around 650 pounds, although your height is still the same.

Well, this particular story of my other self ends with me having my throat bitten by random lynx cats that walked on their hind legs, then recovering from a head injury, only to be assaulted by a knight and killed in the random castle by another knight. I deleted this game and started another one, which started out way too raunchy, and it actually predicted my thoughts (I know it didn't actually do it, it is, in fact, a coincidence, but I planned to do something provocative, but decided not to do it, and them my character actually did it quite unexpectedly.)
I'm in the tunnel once again. Too bad it's too late and I can't really play music. Well, at least I practiced drums a bit today.
