Nice day. Coffee didn't affect me in a bad way. Had 140 something beans.

Bench press

127,8 - 2 sets of 10 - nice, felt somewhat easy, but I bridged a lot. My setup, of course, is really different from a conventional bench, so the cheating is different as well. Put more accent on breath and diaphragm control today. Felt better. I don't need to exhale powerfully when I bench. I probably need to be more of a bouncy castle, the same way as I am on overhead press.

Some bw squats, then 60 kgs for 20 - keep the blood flowing.

Recorded a final verse for Farvann's challenge song, sent it to him some time later. Also drummed a bit, practicing that Manowar beat from Loki, the one with bass drum on 1 2 & 3 & 4. Recorded a jam - but, tbh, I was already tired, I think, or, perhaps, I'm even more unexperienced than I think, so it was really off the metronome. Perhaps I need to set up a more audible metronome for Cakewalk. But I really enjoyed the sound of drums on a recording. However, I suspect that I didn't use my dynamic mic by some accident. Or, perhaps, my dynamic and condenser mic just have an identical volume. The cymbals do sound different on different tracks, after all.

Then I jammed in D Minor - or tried to, at least. Maybe I'll post this jam here, now that I know how to embed soundcloud. I mean, I'd like to rerecord a part of it, because, well, most of it is just very bad. But, perhaps, there's beauty in raw unprocessed things, in hearing mistakes. Plus, you get to try and fix these mistakes when you feel them. I was also writing down tabs for this jam in Musescore. Strangely enough, Musescore doesn't work with WASAPI Shared, but acts like it does. Maybe it was playing in my audio interface.

Spire & Scroll Of a Champion · Calidore, Part 1

Isn't it fun how you can now just come here and listen to random music? I named this track after John Keats' poem - Calidore. I want to study it a bit to figure out more about about english rhymes, and to get more inspiration as well. The thumbnail for this track is this picture - link - I pressed the "random file" button a couple times, and since it was a tunnel - I just couldn't resist. Wouldn't you love to visit the Alps one day? I'd love to, myself, if there was no effort or risk involved 😁 Well, there are still some things in the world that can make want to go somewhere.

I thought about Soundcloud having a 3 hour long limitation - so, if I uploaded every minute of music that I "made" since 2018 it'd be roughly 500% more? haha. I decided to try out another embed method and googled how to do it. Came across a site - I'm just gonna copy the instructions and quote this site - 

To host your audio files on Google Drive:

1. Open drive.google.com
2. Upload your audio file
3. Once uploaded, right-click to share and select 'Share'
   
4. Once in the pop-up dialogue, ensure that the link sharing is set to 'Anyone with the link can view'
5. Click 'Copy Link'
   
6. Your link is almost ready to use. When you paste it, it will be formatted as follows:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/ffI44lAUKS6GkffOPffR2oUcQJfffDoY4/view?usp=sharing.
   You will need to change 'view' in this link to 'preview'

Next, you will need the code that will generate the player. To do this, place your link in the following code:
