Sept 07 - 09

 07.09.2020

"Tiny bench" press - keeping it light, letting my pec recover. It keeps twitching a lot.
60*25+15 small break
62*31+6
65*25+1

Accumulation squat - didn't feel too well, tried to even out my legs, but it was ok in general
Warmup
80*15
100*15

Recorded a large amount of guitar, made my wrist hurt the next day. Perhaps I should really try the technique with more of a rotating forearm.

09.09.2020

Sleeping poorly, but it's getting better. Recovery is at 52/100 I'd say, but I sill preferred to keep it somewhat light. Had 90 mixed beans, finished my two old bags, coffee didn't taste too well.

Overhead press
70 - 3 sets of 5
Pushpress
80*3
90 - 2 sets of 3

Squat warmup, chose to not do it, connective tissue feels underrecovered

Romanian deadlifts - put on straps, my finger was quite ok, nothing bothersome.
60 - 3 sets of 20

A set of overhead press with 40 kgs, three sets of flies with a bar, wide grip, some bent over rows with a bar. Never underestimate light pumping - it's crucial for your overall muscular endurance.

About to re-record some parts and hopefully record some new ones. Re-composing my current song, it feels too simple and too major.

For the last couple days I've been "experimenting" with my guitar tone - you know how it might get - 😁 Today, just now, in fact, I came up with something a lot more enjoyable, the main thing I changed, of course, was my palm muting, and I decided to get rid of delay, too. I'm trying to achieve the dreaded "big" sound by using multiple tracks. I don't like the conventional separation between rhythm and lead guitar, but it's ironic, because I'm actually recording sort of a conventional song? Also, my bad order from fiverr - one of my new artworks, hopefully - got refunded. It was mostly a misunderstanding, from both sides - I thought I hired a painter but they were just a photoshop enthusiast. It got refunded, and after finding my new tone I contacted a new artist, very promising indonesian person, I hope they'll agree to make me an artwork for an album. I'll have to be super specific this time, more specific than ever.

Also, recently someone important to me would've had their birthday, but they're dead, so I wanted to commemorate a gift from them - this cup of mine that they gifted to me long ago. This person was quite a humorous human being, they mentioned that the store had two cups - one with smart cat and one with a strong elephant, so they definitely had to choose the elephant. Also here's two picks that I've been using a lot - purple Big Chungus and tricorn from John Petrucci's branded pick pack. I don't know why I like the tricorn the most, I guess it's because it has more of an obtuse angle.

BTW, I got a bit creative and decided to share my "teaser" here -
