Very nice day. Recovery is at about 77/100, or maybe I'm just feeling good.

Had a lot of coffee, an unusually high amount, in fact, but stretched over a couple hours. Started with 45 beans over 1,5 cups, then about 70 beans, then 30 more. I should remind myself to find a sealed container for coffee, since my old beans are getting bad. New ones are still okay, really thick. Had buckwheat and pork for breakfast. Buckwheat is pretty great for energy gains. There's something about buckwheat that makes it really different from other carbohydrates.

"Tiny bench" press
Warmup
95*23
95*17
95*14 - didn't count 15th rep because of tricep failure, just racked it without locking out. I think I had this issue on all sets, in fact.
80*15 narrower grip, better lockout
80*20 same, not sure about the numbers though.

I was supersetting bench with warmup on drums - at some point I brought my laptop downstairs and started to record some beats for my current song. I didn't use the cakewalk metronome, but instead just my phone, and I think there might be some discrepancy. Also I realised that I was going way too soft on the bass drum, so it ended up sounding a lot like an 808, and only after bass boosting the track a lot. Also I positioned the mic to the right of the kit and that, apparently, was a mistake, because I was actually able to hear the stereo. Next time I'll have to try and position it in front of the kit once again, and lower. Maybe not necessarily lower, if I'm gonna go hard on the kick. And I'm probably gonna have to use the Cakewalk metronome.

When I was almost done, I decided to do some cardio - burpees with 10 kg plate in hands. I did 30 reps with breaks after 10 reps - first I rested 40 seconds, then 90 seconds (roughly). Not sure if my general cardio is good or not. I think it's probably better than before though. Plus, there isn't really such a thing as a general cardio - a maraphon runner wouldn't necessarily be able to do a lot of sacklifting or wrestling, for example. It's all about getting used to specific things. Thus, I think that the best cardio is the one that incorporates you lifting your torso, either in sacklifing or these here burpees.
