Monday, August 3rd, 2020 - mega hype!, song details, training session

So, well, it's really overwhelmed, can't even figure out where to start. It was really hard battling my "perfectionism", in order to not slow down my creative process. You know what helped me? A funny clip from a video about black metal musicians, hehe. I thought to myself - "If people can appreciate lightly produced music, then mine is at least ok" (it was a video by Farvann, can't remember which). I myself am pretty far from black metal, although I definitely can appreciate expressiveness and simplicity of a music style. And I do live viking metal, which is a rather similar genre in a lot of ways. I always loved seemingly simple things, but made sure to remember that nothing is truly simple, nothing is absolutely understandable - it's one of my principles as a thinker. And I shouldn't be ashamed of sounding pretentious, because I do believe this to be important.

Today I have a training session - since july is over, I'm planning to go a but heavier. In my new training approach, which I wrote so much about, I should be achieving quality through quantity (i.e. discipline alongside desire, basically training more often and in a less damaging manner).

Had my coffee - 73 beans over 3 cups, I think I'll have one more and then just go down to my garage in 30 minutes, can't take too long after coffee, else you just get overly captivated by the internet.

My session went brilliantly.

Squat
Warmup
160*1
180*10 nice
200*6 - PR+4 reps :D

I only planned to squat with 200, but miscalculated and forgot that my first two pairs of plates were 20's, not 25's. So I was shocked to succeed at doing 10 reps with 180, thinking it was 200. After realising my mistake I was a little put off, yet still pleased with my effort. I put on Steel Of My Spear (SoMS) again and did 200*6 joyfully, knowing that anything above 2 reps would be a PR. I was wearing Red Devil wraps, they're quite soft but still feel nice, really boost my confidence.
Then I had to leave and do some other things, so that was the end of my training session and my song release date.
