To be honest, my last lyrics weren't good. They were, in fact, worse that my previous option, albeit more extreme. I shouldn't be talking about the music without showing any of it, right?

Today I fogured out that mastering tracks is different from producing them. Mastering is the next stage after producing, and that when the track is supposed to be actually made loud. Turns out, I have one important addon already - Loudmax, basically, that's what I'll be using in the final version.

Today's plan in chinups - something like 3 sets of 10 with appropriate weight - and moderate squats, something like sets of 5 from 130 to 150 kgs. I'm keeping them lower because I want to preserve energy for deadlift on thursday. I'm probably not goin to go too heavy.

Figired out an important thing - I have to not let stress get to me, else it ruins my growth. But it has to be done primarily in my mind. That's the number 1 thing I have to remember. if I don't let stress get to me, I won't be getting flushed with cortisol and I'll have more energy to deal with the issues that (might be) causing stress. Sometimes those issues aren't present in the present time. In fact, that is the case most of the time. I really like being a laid back guy and have a lot of extra energy in my pocket, energy that I won't use until I really need it 😁 The message is everywhere - Easy Rider, Low Ride by Foghat, my school backpack had "Take it easy" written on it. Just gotta go with the flow, and avoid all the rocks. As cool as swimming against the stream is, it's only worth if you're trying to not fall down the waterfall. I miss the days kayaking with my dad in Turkey. I should try to be more of a father to my brothers, sometimes I even feel like I'm neglecting them, just ignoring them. I should get to it if I see both of them in one room together.

Well, it's 15:35 which roughly means that the deadly coffee time has come. Can't help it but feel overly excited. Is that how meth addicts feel? (jk)

Got my coffee. Fiddled on a bass earlier today, figuring out where the "white keys" are. Then I came up with a scale that goes E G G# A B C C# - Google could only offer me eggs, and suggested I check out Aeolian scale on wikipedia (that I visited earlier). It's probably some kind of jazzy scale, sound cheerful. I'm developing a habit of picking bass with just one finger, should try more options.
Finally listened to the "mastered" track, liked it. I'll try to record more vocals today. I like to think of my voice as a whip, because I can create nice "attack" effect with it. I sound a lot like my father when I talk or sing like that. I think I could be a nice back metal "clean" vocalist. Black metal is an awfully simplistic genre, based on what I hear from most people. And it makes sens for it to be like that, because our brains react negatively to music that we can't find patterns in. With me though, if I were to ever make any black metal music it would obviously have to be more "unblack". In XXth century most of the world had freedom of confession, but in my land believers were oppressed. That's why we earn to listen to God's word so much in XXIst century. Imagine if your government forbade you from believing into anything besides capitalism. Can you even imagine that? You'd probably get outraged if you got served a cold cappucino.
Sorry, that was just me talking to imaginary faces again. Can't help, that's how human mind pre-builds conversation patterns. Shows you a lot about me - I can be pretty toxic, especially to my friends. I like dark humor possibly too much. Of course, the older I get, the less I am like that. Thankfully, being more consciencious as an adult doesn't necessarily mean having less energy than your teenage self. Energy is normally being drained for other reasons (mostly poor lifestyle habits).
I've been quite addicted to british comedy television lately, mostly Jiimy Carr stuff. I really like Sean Lock's humor too. I feel like watching comedy shows like that can help you stay laid back. That's why people love humor. People laugh when they feel good with other people. I once read a theory that our ancestors only laughed when they realised there's no danger (i.e. the rock isn't a sabretooth - laugh). Even back then I figured it had to be wrong.

Parallel bar chinups
10
+16 kgs - 3 sets of 10
About 10 reps of 1 arm static pullup catches (one hand is on the bar, another on the rope below, and I move second arm from rope to the bar)

Squat
70*5
120*5
130*5
140*5
150*5 extra slow

One arm 16 kg kettlebell height throws
Did about 8 of them, not sure about the height. 4 something meters I guess
Did one lift to the chest with a 100 kg stone

Was astonished to find out that my bodyweight is 107 kgs. So, basically, I'm more than 10 kilos heavier than a year ago. Cutting down stress works wonders!

Didn't have time to do any vocals today, only practiced on my own a bit.
