Recovery has been something like 45/100, lack of sleep, knees hurting possibly from standing at night. By getting a standing desk I basically traded back pain for knee pain 😁 However, I'm not completely sure, they don't hurt right now. It's the kinda pain you get from doing olympic lifts with poor stretching, because of the super sharp knee angle. And I have been doing all sorts of stretching last thursday, so it's a possile culprit as well.
Parallel bar chinups - got out of shape slightly, maybe it's because of recovery, but I enjoyed them
14
13
+5 kgs *12 +1 reps
+5 * 10 +1
(I normally write +1 etc. if I did an extra rep after a short break)
Had some pretty great pump. Gotta remind myself to do more "energetic" workouts (i.e. doing some light volume in between heavier days) - In my case it would be doing 2 sets of 14 on wed and saturday, hopefully.
Squats - kept them easy
20*10
40 - 3 sets of 10 - made some of them sort of "breathing" squats
All the while I was actually trying to record vocals for my song 😁 Silly mistake, had very poor vocals. Still working on changing some of the lyrics.
Then I kept experimenting with retransposing my improvisation into notation, and wrote down my last jam (only lead though, kept rhythm guitar basic). I liked the melody, so I thought, maybe, I'll use some of it for something else. Noticed that I have a peculiar rhythm. I should search for songs with similar note placements, see if anyone likes doing an 8th note into 4th at the start of the bar. It's probably a very common rhythm, since I used it randomly. Here's a midi file - google drive link I changed a couple mistakes, obviously. And it's possible that rhythm guitar contributed more than I think. Can't really be bothered to retransribe it, it's three or four chords being randomized, pretty much.
